I love KJ Charles and this incredible bit of storytelling is a pinnacle in her repertoire. Everything, every twist, turn, every door open, every door closed was perfectly written. Characters were excellently flawed and beautifully human in their wants, needs, loves and hates. Bravo KJ!

Felice Stevens is a must-have author. She never lets you down with her beautifully fleshed out characters, both MCs and supporters. And Kale Williams, as the voice actor, can't be matched with fluidity and gratefulness in his narratives each character was a gem.

I've come to expect from Felice Stevens a host of passionate fully fleshed out characters. Who start off as unlikable but redeem themselves to be a sort of work in progress. Sweet Revenge is another lovely piece of storytelling at its best. And Kale Williams is so swoon worthy in his renditions.

Enjoyed it overall but at times Kip was annoyingly childish. I did enjoy the slow burn between Kip and Merrick though S.c left them in a unfulfilled area of their relationship.

Sadly not a great reading 😒

You know when you really love the previous 2 narrations and then due to circumstances a change to another narrator happens but they just don't work at all? Yeah. This is of no fault of C.S. Poe's work which I absolutely adore. Her characters and story telling and ALL THE FREAKING COOL RESEARCH she lovingly slides into all her work is amazing. This is strictly Baker's reading. It was really hard to differentiate between the characters and his sometimes too forceful cadence was so difficult to listen to. I bought all 4 audio books knowing that the narrator changed half way but was hoping that the charm and exceptional character knowledge from the first 2 books would be continued. Sadly it's not. I stopped listening around the 3rd chapter and probably won't listen to the last book. You win some, you loose some.

Beautifully written and gorgeously narrated. Gary Furlong's voice and his change in characters are seamlessly perfect leading the listeners to the very depths of happiness, longing, sorrow, hopefulness, and doing justice to Harper's words and prose.

Harper Fox does not disappoint. EVER! This lore a of different Arthurian telling is so rich from moment to moment and incredibly bittersweet. Can't wait for the continuation.
