The writing, the narration, and the content/story telling is worth more than 5 stars. My words and thoughts won’t do justice. All I can do is recommend this book to anyone who enjoys lovely writing and story telling. The injustice is… the relatability… again I can’t do it justice. I was wholly uninterested in their story before this despite my yank fascination with European royalty because at the point Harry and Meghan blew up, I had already established a solid distrust of all media. Now I’m even more disgusted, but wish this family all the best.

I don’t understand the positive reviews.

I do not like leaving negative reviews, but I’ve wasted too many credits and time based and think it’s important to be truthful to save others from this. The book is poorly written and the story is not good or interesting. The author tries, but there are no gripping catches to keep you going. I didn’t finish it because I simply didn’t care what happens in the end.

This book dragged on with too much unnecessary dialogues. I thought it could be ok as it has a good base story. I didn’t care what happened in the end because it was poorly written.

The narrator

The story is great, the performance though… I love this narrator but the intensity could be pulled back a bit. It was fun in some parts, but it I don’t know. It’s hard to listen to in some parts. I had to keep turning the volume down. Good performance is one thing, making it unpleasant for the listener is another.

I almost didn’t listen to this, because I am a nurse and I listen to books to dissociate from that stuff. But this book is incredible. Engaging, kept my attention, I even cried at some points. Great mystery , not her best twist- but still so good!

Great story, terrible production!

This is a great story. Kept my attention and had great twist! I love this author. Unfortunately, the production of this book is awful. The narrator did what she could, I think. It’s worth it to stick with it, though!

This story has everything!

Slow start. If you like the Hollywood drama, true crime, and crazy shit- It gets so good. Listened in 2 days!

Needs rewrite

The base storyline is just OK, and this could be much improved with removal of many unnecessary parts. I ended up skipping around just to find out what happened and even that was disappointing. Very disappointing.
