Historia
Evangelical elites and the progressive media complex want you to think that Christian nationalism is hopelessly racist, bigoted, and an idol for right-wing Christians. Is Christian nationalism the golden calf of the religious right—or is it the only way forward?

To some degree the title of this book is a misnomer.

A refreshing deep dive into a verboten topic!
Revisado: 03-10-24
I really enjoyed Stephen Wolfe’s defense of Christian nationalism, despite my theological disagreements with him as a Baptist. Christians for so long have adopted a “just passing through” attitude towards life on this side of glory, and the results have been catastrophic. I urge you to give this book a chance and think through the argument he presents. If you disagree, then fine! Come up with a better argument. But we cannot continue with the status quo and hope to survive as a country.

This book is about freedom and the right to have an opinion. A concept that has been fought over for centuries. Whilst we think of Australia as being a free society, You Can't Say That! challenges this notion, arguing that the freedoms all Australians once enjoyed have been systematically eroded over last few decades, and how, as a nation, we must fight to get them back.

You Must Read This!
Revisado: 03-07-24
Melinda Richards does a superb job of demonstrating how totalitarian socialists have infiltrated the west, with a specific emphasis on her home country of Australia. She covers a wide range of topics such as feminism, BLM, reparations, and of course the Covid pandemic. Though the topics are diverse, Richards shows how they share a single theme: control. Your government will seek to shame and coerce you into conforming with their narrative. If you do not stand up and fight for your freedom, it will be lost, possibly forever. Thank you for your courage to speak out, Melinda.

Historia
East Antarctica: the coldest, most desolate location on earth. Two-and-a-half miles below the ice cap is Vostok, a 6,000 square mile liquid lake, over 1,000 feet deep, left untouched for more than 15 million years. Now, marine biologist Zachary Wallace and two other scientists aboard a submersible tethered to a laser will journey 13,000 feet beneath the ice into this unexplored realm to discover Mesozoic life-forms long believed extinct - and an object of immense power responsible for the evolution of modern man.

I enjoyed the first half
Revisado: 02-22-23
I really enjoyed the initial setup, where the protagonist was dragged (blackmailed) into taking a treacherous journey below the Antarctic ice shelf. The story of the team trying to get back out was great too. The story lost me when it brought in aliens and multiverses. I stayed until the end, but it just wasn’t that enjoyable.

Getting the series back on track
Revisado: 08-30-22
After a bizarre prior entry, Steve Alten gets the series back on track. The stakes are high, but they feel a lot more grounded in reality this time.

Historia
Bela and Lizzy, the dominant megalodon siblings from Angel's brood, have escaped the Tanaka Institute to roam the Salish Sea in British Columbia. While Jonas Taylor and his friend Mac attempt to either recapture or kill the "sisters," Jonas' son, David, embarks on his own adventure, motivated by revenge. Having witnessed his girlfriend's gruesome death, David has joined a Dubai prince's ocean expedition, tracking the 120-foot, hundred-ton Liopleurodon that escaped from the Panthalassa Sea.

Unnecessary sequel
Revisado: 08-25-22
This is a very strange addition to “The Meg” series. It follows a very similar plot to “Hell’s Aquarium,” except this time David Taylor is driven by revenge for his dead girlfriend. Even so, he ends up getting a new girlfriend who is nearly a carbon copy of the one he lost. Very little of the story focuses on the two remaining megs Bella and Lizzie, but rather turns its attention to other long extinct sea creatures that Jonas and David seek to capture. There are weird visions of the future, which Jonas’ friend taps into to save David. Just really bizarre. The finale is at least entertaining, but the path to get there was just strange. Overall, not worth it.
