Historia
Detective Josie Quinn is horrified when she’s called to the house of a mother who had her newborn baby snatched from her arms. A woman caught fleeing the scene is Josie’s only lead, but when questioned it seems this mysterious girl doesn’t know who she is, where she’s from, or why she is so terrified.... Is she a witness, a suspect, or the next victim? As Josie digs deeper, a letter about a mix-up at a fertility clinic links the nameless girl and the missing child to a spate of killings across the county.

Good story, narration a good joke
Revisado: 10-29-19
Needless to say I like others found the narrator to be terrible. Please don't let this deter you from a good book and good author.

Historia
Everyone in the small town of Denton is searching for Isabelle Coleman, a missing 17-year-old girl. All they've found so far is her phone and another girl they didn't even know was missing. Mute and completely unresponsive to the world around her, it's clear this mysterious girl has been damaged beyond repair. All Detective Josie Quinn can get from her is a name: Ramona. Currently suspended from the force for misconduct, Josie takes matters into her own hands as the name leads her to evidence linking the two girls.

Revisado: 03-08-19
The book seemed to be with dealing with a bad narrator, but she was horrendous. Ms. Regan really should reach out to the publisher to re do the books in this series as this is not fair to her

Revisado: 08-20-18
I'm now caught up with Ms. Burton so I'll have to move on for a bit. This was a great story with lots of twists and turns and then it was over. Two more chapters would have been even better. Just my opinion and certainly worth reading to see if you agree

Revisado: 02-16-18
Great book but I just think Alison Campbell could read me the dictionary and I would listen. My favorite narrator. I do have a question on the ending about a character but can't ask without doing it for others! Maybe I just missed something.

Revisado: 12-07-17
I now can't get enough of Angela Marsons but will have to wait for more! I only they I had not survived her sooner. I went with the"name brand" authors who are great but Ms Marsons depth and emotional realism are not comparable. Alison Campbell is just as good so I will pass the time waiting by listening to more books she narrates.

Should have read the reviews, I could not listen
Revisado: 06-22-17
What would have made The Devil's Daughter better?
Simple, I tried for 35 minutes, the narration was truly as though Mickey Mouse was imitating the characters, especially the men; NOT IN A FUNNY WAY. I wanted to get interested in the book (I love small town stories) but I could not do it. I feel I am being rude, but someone should at least listen before producing an entire book like this. If the narrator had simply used her own voice the entire time it would have been OK . So happy Audible has a great return policy and I will do better at listening to the samples - my fault.
Has The Devil's Daughter turned you off from other books in this genre?
Only from this narrator
How could the performance have been better?
Obvious by this point, a different narrator
