Historia
Despite technology that allows for more connection than any previous generation, our culture is drowning in loneliness. Human beings are deeply relational, longing to be known, welcomed, encouraged, and connected. Yet most of us go through life lacking some of the key relationships we need in order to feel fulfilled. The answer to our loneliness problem is not found in the quantity of relationships, but rather in finding and growing five specific types of relationships, which make up a blueprint for belonging revealed in the life of Jesus.

Touched my heart in a familiar way
Revisado: 06-09-24
I am so GRATEFUL for the transparency that Zach and his wife, Chrystal, offer. In a world of putting on and air, we need authenticity in order to shows sinners that they are not too far gone. Jesus came to save the sinner. Thank you for sharing. I saw me in a lot of this. It also helped me to identify other areas of my life that I have not surrendered. Thank you.

I have a story that may hurt the aggressor that I forgave and still know. I battle with sharing this story in order to not harm them, but I also feel like it steals the miracle that God performed in my life. Your book has encouraged me to share my story in some way in order to draw honor and glory to God and to help someone else. Please be praying for me and my journey. It's time.

Gut wrenching, the veil of Friends has been ripped away...
Bear with me...
As a HUGE fan of Matthew Perry for as long as I knew he existed, this book broke my heart for him. He was an extreme narcissist who couldn't find gratitude in anything nor comfort. The fact that his parents gave him hard drugs as an infant for Colic was no help.
His need for constant affirmation is exactly what's wrong with a world without God.
I find it sad that he never was able to enjoy his success, the fact that he never found peace, nor joy while acting in a show that brought so much joy to others is just plain sad and was hard to read.
This book opened my eyes to this amazing comedian who struggled. Heck, he was tortured by his own demons and the demons around him. I found myself getting irritated with him, loving him more, crying, understanding addiction and the addict more, and cheering for him to get out of his own way. I cringed at times and wanted to hug him at others.
Why do funny people struggle so much? Is it because they struggle that they find the absolute need to be funny just to feel love, or are they geniuses with brains and emotions too raw for this cruel world?
No matter how I slice it, this book made me feel. And feel big.
I wish we could thank him for his last thoughts, that we could tell him how he healed parts of us that he never broke, and that I pray with all of my heart that he knew Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.
Thank you, "Matty," for being honest, real, transparent, and lovable.
I learned a lot in this book, more than just about who you were, but a lot about who I am around people who are struggling. You gave me a gift.
Godspeed.

Revisado: 10-18-23
I love the honesty, the thoughtfulness, and the transparency. Thank you for sharing your hearts and allowing this lady who grew up feeling "different" to feel seen and heard. I found my Ben (Josh), but many years later in life and far too late to birth children. My heart ached as you read aloud about your daughter, I shed tears for feelings that I will never have but that I cherish experiencing through others. Thank you to my brother and sister in Christ for sharing. Thank you. You have inspired me to make something good.

Every Sales Pro Wants Their Manager To Read This
Revisado: 03-30-23
1st of all, every salesperson needs to read this in order to be a better salesperson and to understand that we have a part in playing a role in making our managers better.
2nd of all, if a sales manager doesn't read this, their ego may always get in their way. I hope this isn't the case.
There are so many practical, relatable, and meaningful call-to-actions and ways to improve our game at any level. I love the pitfalls that are pointed out as well as the things to strive to do. THE LIST! I have it in my digital notebook, and I have convinced myself to read it every morning for the next 90 days in order to build better habits.
This book is good. No, it's great.
