Historia
A few years earlier, the evil clan destroyed Earth. Jon and his team labored mightily to resurrect our lost civilization. But once they achieved that impossibility, Jon grew more and more obsessed with restoring Earth's original time line. He wants to give rebirth to his original life story, his history. In spite of pleas to the contrary by his friends, he was hellbent on achieving his unproven goal.

Nice book

Once again, I love Scott Aiello's narration of the story. The book was a bit short but I really enjoyed the content. Looking forward to the next one.

Historia
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

Decent Book
Revisado: 06-20-22
Honestly, it was a bit hard to get into. Performance is done very well so no problem with that, although the story and actual composition of the book kinda bugs me. Some words and phrases are repeated to close to one another, and there are a lot of words and sentences that interrupt the flow of the book. The way certain scientific concepts are explained (sometimes incorrectly) also annoyed me a little bit - maybe the book is just based on the military a little too much. If you can look past the inconsistencies it can be an enjoyable listen.
