is it just like the TV show?. No. But were their voices still as clear and crisp and their performances. justi
as head on as ever? Yes! Yes! Yes! In a time which is pretty much void of anything Buffy related, this is just what I needed. To hear some of my most favorite actors voice one of my favorite shows ever! the story lacked a little bit of the usual , but Amber Benson has never been one of my favorite writers. actors. yes but not writers. I do wish they had gone with one of the writers from before. But it was a fun story. nonetheless! My favorite actor- James Marsters! favorite character of buffy- Spike! I've met him party with him and to hear his voice on this amazing story was just the best. I think it is asking a bit too much to try and recreate Buffy based on these actors ages at this point. But an audible original. this media is perfect for their otherwise timeless voices and amazing and wonderful acting skills. I thoroughly enjoyed the story. wish that they had made a small nod to the canon continuation of Buffy Season 8-12 in comic, but was happy the stepped around it enough to use it possibly in the future. I am ready for the next episode!!

it's not Outlander but it's okay!

First and foremost, you should watch the movie The Last of the Mohicans,. because this book actually picks up at the ending of that movie. Supposedly .. Also there are a few Outlander shout outs, please know that this is a good story, full of adventure and drama, but this is not Outlander and is not written in the same style as Herself's writing style. once I got beyond those slight disappointments, it is a wonderful story to entertain you and pass the time.

Great little book to put you asleep

I'm not saying that tongue and cheek or being terribly critical. there is a channel called Calm Which is a podcast you have to pay for that contains stories and meditations for relaxation. There's also another podcast called Bore You to Sleep Which specializes in telling stories that are So boring and meaningless They are meant to help you fall asleep. Also there are multiple channels and podcasts and YouTube videos dedicated to ASMR Which stands for "autonomous sensory meridian response" Which are made up of sounds, visions, touch. They help people to relax and also relieve stress and anxiety. The sound of The reader's voice, even the word choices the author made for the story - lots of "S"'s - are very calming. The scene that she paints is full of details which numb the mind into sleep. I'm being very serious. It's a lovely little story and I've not made it to the end yet!

very disappointing

I really struggled to finish this book... I was looking forward to it as I enjoyed the Night Circus. This one had a interesting beginning, which drew me in, but failed to keep my attention very much afterwards. So many times I thought about abandoning the book, but I'm one of those people who has to finish a book if I start one. After a while though, I begin to resent this book taking up my precious time. I started by reading it rather than listening to it from the beginning to the middle, but towards the end I had to switch over to Audible just to make it a little interesting. Towards the end it started to get a little bit better, but had a miserable finish. The sad thing is... I know this will be somebody's favorite book...

highly recommend this audible original! extremely entertaining! action packed with a good story that will connect into any alien storylines of the future. The lady who reads for Ripley - amazing voice! sounded just like Sigourney Weaver!

This was just a pure delight and lots of fun! with multiple shout outs to many fandoms this is a fun adventure through nerd land! And I mean that and the best ways possible! anybody who is a fan of Firefly goes to the top of my list! lol! Adam Baldwin did a wonderful job performing! enjoyed all of his character voices.
