Storyline was interesting. The narrator was fine until doing voices for each character. Most of the agents sounded like nerdy highschool kids. The female characters all sounded very robotic. I liked the narrator for the first two books

This story was so disgustingly contrived, Ill written, and badly narrated I can't believe I listened to the entire thing. It was like a bad meal from a chef who you'd previously enjoyed so you slog through it, tamping down the nausea of the taste. Don't waste your time or money on this one. I'll rethink before buying another

I loved this book. At times I thought of "The Grapes of Wrath", while at other times the story had a feeling of "Where the Crawdads Sing". "Stars of Alabama", however, has it's own feel. The lives, the events, anguish, joys and sorrows of each main character brought me all the feels and emotions one hopes for in a good book.

LOVED this Thomas Prescott series! Intelligent-ish, funny, interesting, good character development, great follow through with the storyline. I can't say enough good. The one downfall is the number of characters. It takes some concentration to follow them all and keep them straight. But I am DEFINITELY a Nick Pirog fan from now on. Try one of his books! You won't be disappointed.
