this was my introduction to Kiese Laymon and his work, and I was so beyond impressed and enthralled by his story. having his narration was a delicious bonus; his authentic voice and cadence provided even more depth to the story. I have listened to it twice already and am still finding new gems. highly, highly recommend 🙌🏾

I completely stumbled upon this author and series and I am so glad I did. It was such a whimsical and fun story, the author is hilarious, and the narrator truly did the story justice! I had so many laugh out loud moments while listening, and can't wait to start the next book.
