Historia
In 490 BCE Pheidippides ran for 36 hours straight from Athens to Sparta to seek help in defending Athens from a Persian invasion in the Battle of Marathon. In doing so he saved the development of Western civilization and inspired the birth of the marathon as we know it. Even now, some 2,500 years later, that run stands enduringly as one of greatest physical accomplishments in the history of mankind.

Interwoven runs with history
Revisado: 08-10-18
Not my favorite story about running but still a good one. I like the interwoven story of the original marathon. If you read Natural Born Heroes, the format is very similar.
The story is not as motivating as his previous works, but I was entertained!

Historia
Even when finding oneself engaged in interstellar war, good form must be observed. Our story is set thousands of years after the Terran Exodus, where two powerful, planet-dominating families - the elegant House Jakabitus and the less refined Hahn Empire - have reached a critical point in their generations-long war. Master Hennik, the Hahn ruler's only son, has been captured, and the disposition of his internment may represent a last and welcome chance for peace.

Took a long time to get interested
Revisado: 12-31-16
Took more than half the book to become interested in the story. You might ask why did I keep listening, well I have a hard time giving up, especially if I like the author.
The story was OK. I don't know why there was so much focus on the staff that never went anywhere. The royal families were interesting but I did not get enough of them. I was not satisfied with the ending.

Historia
Ever since Martin Banks and his fellow computer geeks discovered that reality is just a computer program to be happily hacked, they've been jaunting back and forth through time, posing as medieval wizards and having the epic adventures that other nerds can only dream of having. But even in their wildest fantasies, they never expected to end up at the mercy of the former apprentice whom they sent to prison for gross misuse of magic and all-around evil behavior.

Not as good as the others but still good.

I enjoyed this book, but it was frustrating at times. I hate the Brit the Elder
