Can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m done with Mr. King!

I kind of want to finish this book, but can’t get past the continued moralizing about how great the socialists that currently run our country are and how ignorant, awful and backwards anyone who doesn’t agree with their leftist ideology is.
I used to love to read and listen to King’s novels and short stories; I have more than 20 in my Audible library. But, this insane shift to bash 50% of the US population in nearly every 2-3 minute chapter is nauseating at best and renders this tome “unreadable.”
Another casualty of trying to divide this country by focusing on differences instead of what used to unite us as Americans.

Great story by a great storyteller

I’ve been listening to and watching Kevin for several years but knew very little of his backstory. This tale of a young man’s desire and drive to make a career out of his natural talent (instead of becoming a lorrie driver, delivering beer to comedy clubs) is a fun and interesting listen. If you are a fan of British comedy, or any comedy, I would highly recommend.

A great book about a great man and a president who had to deal with so many emergent issues in a drastically changing world. The character of Truman is what comes through in the telling of this story; no apologies for his mis-steps and blunders, but a good man at heart.
It was a 5 star book ruined by very poor editing. The pregnant pauses and extended dead air was distracting at best.

The great information got lost in the politics

The ostensive premise of the book is about weather and the advancement in predictive modeling that has come with improved data analytics. However, it became a left-wing rant against Trump and an all to predictable demonization of the right. I'm glad I didn't pay for it, but I did pick up some new cocktail party factoids.
