A masterful novel. Glorious installment for the Walsh family. I laughed til I cried, cried til I laughed. Thank you for writing this for us. 💛

Great for readers of Tara Isabella Burton, Otessa Moshfegh, Donna Tartt, and Mona Awad. Extremely timely and timeless cultural critique of our ~current neoliberal moment~ within the broader literary and art scenes. Thorough examination of trust fund influencers in the zeitgeist.

It’s a 21st century Great Gatsby meets Netflix’s “You.” Great postlude to dark academia. The narrator is incredible!

Gorgeous narration by Sophie Amos, as ever. The novel is a lyrical fairytale that dances between reality and the abyss of grief. Great to read after “Bunny.”

It’s clear that Amy lives and loves in Los Angeles — this novel is a love letter to the city and to chosen family, to lesbians and to nonbinary people, and especially to fat femmes. It’s both literary and fun, like an elevated beach read. Great for readers of Emily Henry, Dolly Alderton, and Marian Keys — but with a fresh twist. I got so happily lost in the interiority of the novel. I felt so seen and beloved in these pages. Bravo! My favorite read of the summer! 🩵

“The Handmaid’s Tale” walked so this book could fly. Gorgeous lyrical prose, surprising twists, and fabulous performance by the narrator. My favorite read of 2023!

Love her books so very much, but especially the author narrating! I hope Keyes will narrate more of her own titles in the future.
