This book was chefs kiss for me. The performance, the writing, the spice, the plot. I loved every moment of it.

Loved this Duet!

The Duet narration of this book is just amazing. Easily my top 3 audiobook of 2024.
That said, I really enjoyed the entire book. From the characters that are totally relatable, to the plot that has you admiring a serial killer (who would have thought?!), to the spice. Pure perfection!

I enjoyed that this was a quick listen. The story is good and I was a little shocked at some of the characters twist and turns. The roll of that R had his name stuck in my head and the cliffhanger has me ready for book 2

I really enjoyed this book. The development of the FMC, Issa, and her relationship with Rune is really coming along and is well done.
While I did think some of the inner dialog for Issa got to be a bit redundant or over done, I also realized and appreciated it as I too suffer from anxiety & panic attacks, and am a chronic overthinker. So it started to remind me of myself.
There was definitely a lot more spice in this book too and let me tell you I did feel all the tingles. Daddy Rune coming in clutch... always.
Now to anxiously wait for Book 3!
