Tracks and Flashbacks is a fantastic Mystery !

Tracks & Flashbacks is Book 9 in the Mitzy Moon series and I have to say I think the best so far!
I do love this series, and this one was quite the ride!

Mitzy and Sheriff Harper take a trip to Arizona to try and solve a cold case, not just any cold case though. The case of her mother's death that may or may not have been a homicide.

I love Mitzy's character, and she has really grown over the last several books. This was an emotional read, but also so well written with laughter along the way. I think it's safe to say we learn why Mitzy is the way Mitzy is and our past truly does impact who we become as an adult.

I was excited as always to see her romantic relationship and how it has progressed with Erick.
Though not physically on the trip it was so fantastic to see Silas , Ghost-Ma and the amazing Pyewacket get involved. That was brilliant on the author's part to let them be part of the story because those are some fantastic secondary characters and I definitely would of missed them if they weren't involved.

The mystery was multi-layered, complex and well personal to Mitzy which added an additional complexity.

This is a great book and series that I highly recomend .

Fantastic Audio Thriller!

American Girl by Wendy Walker is a fantastic audiobook that I really enjoyed every minute of.

The mystery thriller is told in the point of view of Charlie, who is an Autistic teenager who is getting ready to go to MIT and working part time at a deli to save money.

Charlie gets caught up in a murder and she doesn't know who to trust. ⠀

These narrators do an excellent job brining Charlie to life and describing the thoughts and perspectives of how/what an autistic person actually feels.

Wendy Walker is a master at her craft and an incredible storyteller. I highly recommend this audio book to everyone that loves mysteries and thrillers.

Love Harper and Gang !

This was such a good book ! The narrator brings the characters to life . Was excited to see Jack and Ivy show up. Fun seeing Zanders freak outs before his wedding. Such a fun story ! Well written and hilarious !

Waks and High Stakes was FANTASTIC!

Wakes and High Stakes is Book 8 in the Mitzy Moon series by Trixie Silvertale. I absolutely love this character driven series. Mitzy and her Ghost-Ma and Odell are fantastic. I LOVE Pyewacket the carcal, the story is so interesting.

I love the romance between Mitzy and Sheriff Erick and I love how in this installment Ghost-ma has more of an upfront role.

There is a cliff hanger that leaves me SO excited to see what's going to happen next!

Swords & Fallen Lords is Book 7 in the Mitzy Moon Mystery Series by Trixie Silverdale.
I absolutely LOVE this series!

This story is set at a Renaissance Faire, which Mitzy is not the biggest fan of.
Until there is a murder that takes place.

I love the mood ring that Mitzy wears, I think that's such a unique way of dropping clues.

I love the characters in the story, and Ghost-ma is my favorite.

This one kept me guessing until the very end.

A well written, perfectly paced mystery.

Coleen Marlo does such a wonderful job narrating the story and brining the characters to life.

LOVE Bars & Boxcars!

Bars and Boxcars is the 6th Book in the Mitzy Moon series by Trixie Silvertale.
I absolutely LOVE this series. I listened to the audio version narrated by the amazing:Coleen Marlo.

This series keeps getting better and better!

I was hooked from the first chapter. Mitzy's and Eric the sheriff's relationship seem to be going well until she sees something unexpected. Meanwhile Mitzy's dad is having a lot of trouble with hijackers on the trains leaving from the depot.

But wait, Mitzy goes undercover, with hilarious results! I LOVE the characters and I absolutely love the town of Pin Cherry Harbor and all of the characters, especially Mitzy's ghostma and Piwackett!

I highly recommend this book and the entire series!

Fantastic Cozy Paranormal Mystery !

Charms and Firearms is the 5th Book in the Mitzy Moon series by Trixie Silvertale. I have really enjoyed the first 4 books in the series. I listened to the audiobook by Coleen Marlo and she really brings the characters to life! I absolutely love the characters in this book, especially Mitzi's ghostma and Piwackett the cat. Mitzi comes across another body while away and she heads back to the bookstore to get help from her friends to discover one of them missing! Mitzi has her hands filled with magic, romance and mystery. The story was well written and the mystery was fantastic. I laughed out loud and like I said I really enjoyed the narrator! Can't wait for the next book!

Time Traveling Witch

I really enjoyed a Devil of a Time by Mona Marple. The narrator Nano Nagle is fantastic and brings this story to life.

We meet Flick and she is having a "devil of a time". Flick has powers but does not want to use them. If she doesn't use them she'll be cut off from her family. She decides to take a job with the Agency and she is sent back to 1999 to solve a cold case and she only has 7 days to do it!

I love this book, and the concept is so original intertwining time travel and witches with a mystery. The writing is so well done , and I really enjoyed the plot twists. Flick is as complex a character as they come, not only dealing with decisions with her family, and her craft but also solving a cold case mystery.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to every minute of this book !

Fantastic Southern Mystery with great narrator!

Welcome to Cottonwood, Kentucky Y'all !
Fixin' to Die is Book 1 in the Kenni Lowry Series. I listened to this book on audio and let me tell you the narrator Hillary Huber is fantastic! How does she do all those voices?

We meet Kenni Lowry who is the sheriff in Cottonwood. She comes to discover that the ghost of her grandfather (the previous sheriff) has been having a hand in the low crime rate by scaring off criminals. I mean he is a ghost, right?

Cottonwoods favorite doctor is murdered the same day as a jewelry store is robbed and boy does Kenni have her hands full!!! Good thing she has some help with some great characters that are so well developed and again, the narrator does such an amazing job with the voices.

The story and mystery is so complex with layer upon layer. I didn't guess who did it! I bet you won't either. I am so looking forward to reading (or listening) to the next book in the series.

I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook and I am excited to listen to the next in the series.
