ya know, I don't think there's much I can say that I haven't already said about this series.

Rylee and friends are thrust once again into neverending tides, and when the odds seem impossible, they still make it out on top.

this series is so, so good. I don't have words for how much I love Rylee's protectiveness, and for how much growth she and Liam have had throughout the series.

Lauren and Dan are the perfect narrators for this series, and I genuinely cannot imagine anyone else playing these roles.

thank you again to Shannon and team for the ALCs. I'm smitten with this series.

One of my new favorite Urban Fantasies

I'm obsessed with Rylee and all of her friends and side characters.

Leave it to Mayer to have heartbreaking storylines and beautiful conclusions. she's the master of those.

as for the narrators, I don't think any other narrators could do justice to this series as these two have done. they really brought this story to life.

Urban Fantasy at its best!

Shannon Mayer is one of my favorite authors for Urban Fantasy, and this series solidified that for me.

It's like Cat and Bones, but with a fiercely protective FMC who is determined to keep the kids safe.

One of my favorite things Shannon does in all of her books is write FMCs who are girl's girls, who can fight, but also fight for very specific causes.

For the audio: I listened to the first two as Graphic Audio, then this one.

Lauren Fortgang made the PERFECT Rylee. Her voice and Rylee's personality are exactly what I'd imagine Rylee to sound like. She's also excellent with accents.

Dan Bittner is also a new-to-me narrator, and I enjoyed his parts as well.

This series is shaping up to become a favorite Urban Fantasy, and I cannot wait to see where it goes.

as usual, Red's books are incredible. Connor was the perfect choice to perform as Master Anderson. His narration was pure perfection. This book left me with all the feels.

Believe the Hype

Okay, so I usually don't get behind book series that most people rave about. Several book groups I'm in talk about this series all the time. Usually I wind up sorely disappointed when reading a highly recommended series.

That was not the case with this one. I laughed, cried, and was jealous that people like this don't really exist in the world anymore. I think this may possibly be my most favorite book I've ever read.

Can't wait to finish the series, but also wish I could forget it so I can read it again for the first time.

Maxine and Joe were pure perfection. I've never heard narration like this book either. 🔥🔥🔥

Red Phoenix does it again! I just fell back in love with Sir. I want to live in this universe forever. Pippa's performance was amazing as always, too!
