Skip it!
Revisado: 02-27-14
What would have made Tangled better?
I didn't like the way the story was told. There was alot of cussing which I can understand but sometimes it was not necessary. Everything seemed forced in this book. For example, when Drew finally sleeps with Katherine he realizes "I love her" when he is inside of her. Now is that true sentiment or desire. I am not buying the story.
What could Emma Chase have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
It doesn't.
What three words best describe Sebastian York’s voice?
overplayed, forced, Cliche.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Tangled?
I don't know. Everything was so short lived and forced nothing was really elaborated.

The most suprising moment was when Evelyn runs away admiting defeat finding out she had been made a fool from the people of her new clan. She is out in the fields when someone injures her husband, she overcomes her fear of horses and goes to get help screaming at the top of her lungs to the point of injury(she had not spoken for 3 years). When her husband comes too, she quickly crumbles to accept are her needs and pain she had been avoiding. When the healer checks her she is black and blue all over her body. What a Story!
Revisado: 02-12-14
Where does The Secret Keeper rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This book is great! The story unfolds through Laurel the daughter of Dorothy, who is trying to uncover her mother’s past; now, that she lay in her dying bed with brief recollection of her past. Including how she killed a man and no one spoke of it ever again. The plot thickens with Vivian being the key to the past and 30 years later the story unravels opening the secrets of the past in a developing shocker. Laurel's mother has hid a secret identity. Oh my, what a great story with all the twist and turn. Nice read.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Laurel, the daughter was my favorite character. She is a famous actress who downplays her famous persona, but is not afraid to dig and dig until she gets to the bottom of the story.
Which character – as performed by Caroline Lee – was your favorite?
I would have to say Dorothy was my favorite performance because Ms. Lee made her sound bratty, a little crazy, and annoying just as the books describes her.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes, when it is revealed that Vivian dismissed Dorothy in fear of her husband beating her for having friends. Also, the moment when Vivian meets with Jimmy and he notices a bruise and shows concern. It’s nice because this is where you realize the characters are quite fond of each other.
Any additional comments?
I was left a little confused as to why and How Jimmy survived and why he couldnt be with Vivian.

Great Book
Revisado: 09-05-13
Where does Lean In rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This book was great, very empowering as a woman. It gave me the tools to have a different mindset when heading out in the workforce. Towards the end of the book there was a lot of talk about kids and a working executive mother and the difficulties. I have no children so this part dragged for me. Overall very motivating and eye opening to see how woman talk themselves down in the workforce.
