Another free one

I’m so glad I didn’t spent a credit on the three books! Yes I listened to all of them. The writing was so high school ish!! Again hated how the ladies voice made the men all sound weaselly! The fourth book is a credit & I’ll just use my imagination on what will happen! If you like ghetto, trashy, overly sexual porn this this is for you. There were mistakes & scenarios that were off! How dude crash his car in one chapter but able to pick up girl in it in another. Proof read!! Anyways…next freebie!

Hmmm…yea…it’s free. I still listened & finished. Surprising violence. Book mistakes. Look this is extremely ghetto & trashy! If that’s what you like you’ll love it! Messed up calling his uncle his cousin. Why am I going to listen to book 3?

I love free listens! But when it’s not good…then it’s not good! There was so many mistakes in this book. The ladies voice for the men was absolutely insane! I wasn’t going to continue it…but I did. Listening to the other free books but certainly won’t buy book 4. Again, it’s free, so…

Second book I’ve listened to from this author. First I love the narrator. Even though part he kinda messed up the Mexican & Chinese characters but his voice is great. But…this book dragged on & on, kinda like this review! Too many characters. I did however like the protagonist storyline & hope it works out for Brandstetter & Doug. I’ll still listen to the next book because it’s free.

Born on a plantation in Charles City, Virginia, Pheby Delores Brown has lived a relatively sheltered life. Shielded by her mother’s position as the estate’s medicine woman and cherished by the Master’s sister, she is set apart from the others on the plantation, belonging to neither world. She’d been promised freedom on her eighteenth birthday, but instead of the idyllic life she imagined with her true love, Essex Henry, Pheby is forced to leave the only home she has ever known. She unexpectedly finds herself thrust into the bowels of slavery at the infamous Devil’s Half Acre.

Too relaxing
Revisado: 04-25-23
I gave all high marks for this but…the narrators voice was TOO relaxing! I had such a hard time driving & listening to her because her soothing voice made me sleepy. I mean I enjoyed it throughly but she needs to read bedtime books if she doesn’t. Now, the main character had me so upset! I’m glad he didn’t go through with it! The story was unconventional & a very great story overall. Beautifully written & I truly felt like I was there by those huge trees! It wasn’t predictable either. I did t realize I had just finished with another one of her books until I realize her writing styles & her love of Atlanta. I’ll certainly will check out more from this author! It’s like poetry!

Historia
Stable, safe, predictable—all words that aptly describe Professor Nadia Day’s life. An existence she’s carefully crafted for herself despite her unconventional upbringing and what, to her, is an unseemly past. The last thing she would ever do is rock the boat when it comes to her life and livelihood. When retired football player and single dad, Nathan Moore, walks into her psychology classroom, all fine and dreadlocked, he does more than rock her boat—he rocks her world and causes her to question her buttoned-up existence.

Revisado: 04-19-23
Ok the guy’s voice was great. The lady’s was fine as long as she was doing guys voices was fine. I didn’t necessarily like hers when it came to the ladies. Anyways, I laughed at some of the things that was funny. Nadia’s dad was hilarious. I think I listened to the books outta order but that’s ok. Overall was listenable. Can’t complain about the descriptive sex scenes when there’s a sexual storyline. Anyways, it was an ok overall story.

Didn’t need to be that long. Andrea was pretty dumb & I couldn’t get pass her storyline. I mean…the narrator sounded like she was reading in her bathroom. It was hard to finish but I did finish it.
