Before this, I had no idea how to legally protect my son’s future. Now I understand how a trust works and why it’s important. The clarity and step-by-step format were what I liked most. I’m already recommending this to friends in my support group.

The narrator’s delivery was smooth and engaging, and the content struck a balance between expert insight and human empathy. It gave me better language to express needs in my relationship. I especially appreciated the section on creating supportive environments. It made me realize how many things I took for granted. I didn’t expect to feel so seen and validated. Listening to this felt like talking to someone who just gets it.

What stood out most about The Wages of Kin was how grounded the fantasy elements felt. The drama within the Battier family is realistic and emotionally charged, while the broader world is full of secrets, danger, and political manipulation. The author does a fantastic job of showing how each family member copes with tragedy and pressure in their own way. It’s thrilling, moving, and deeply human. I can’t wait to see where the story goes in Book 2.
