Eh. I’ve said that ever time I listened to one! These are awesome stories for this genre, and they don’t get boring. I really didn’t think I would like it because of the way the heroine was in previous books. Boy, was I wrong. If you’ve been following the series, you won’t be disappointed. Definitely worth the $ or credit. I usually won’t spend so much for just six hours, but I can’t help myself.

TOO MUCH SEX

I don’t like stories that kick me out of the bedroom. In fact, if there’s no 🔥 I won’t purchase the book. I have all of M.K. Eidem’s audio books except the next one in this series. Why? There is TOO much sex. I never thought I’d find a romance like that, but this checks the box. Absolutely no reasonable story accompanied it. I don’t think I made it through the first chapter. Skip this one.

Very Good but Missing Something

This was a very good romantic story with some appreciated hot spots. However, the aliens were basically humans with cultural differences. I like my aliens with tails, blue skin, horns...you get the point. It’s a sweet story but not one with a lot of adventure or excitement. This is a mild story. I don’t think it’s worth a credit.

Great MC love story!

If you like MC love stories this is for you. It has all the elements of a good story. MC trouble with other groups, good love story, 🔥 with the passion, club tramps, HEA and a hint at the next story. One thing I find important to note: I almost didn’t get this audible because several reviews said the female narrator was awful. I have over 350 books, plus the ones I listened to with Audible Escape. The female narrator is actually quite good. I’m very happy I chose to take a chance. If you’re one the fence...jump. You’ll be happy you did.😊

JUST TOO MUCH

I tried. Really I did. After reading several reviews, I skipped this one and listened to books 3 and 4. They were all so good, so I went back and reread reviews. One review didn’t agree with all the others that said the heroine was all around disagreeable, so I gave it a shot.🙄😔 I got as far as chapter 16 and had to stop. At some point, in my romance stories, I need to see a hint of romance between the H and h...some kind of budding love story. She was just mean and nasty with no sign of letting up. I’m returning this one. The narrator was absolutely fabulous.

EXCELLENT FINISH!

This was a great way to end the series! Maxine usually over dramatizes almost every word, but in this and book four she didn't. Her performance was so much better!

Another time-worthy listen

I ALMOST didn't get this title because of the bad narrator reviews, but I wanted to hear Nicks story so I took a chance. Good thing. I have about 400 audible books but have listened to considerably more because of the romance package. It isn't that Margurite is bad. She's actually quite good. She's just a different narrator. Sometimes we get so comfortable with one narrator, especially a very talented one for a series, that went won't accept a new one. Margurite does a great job of making each character voice distinguishable from each other and all seperate from hers (the actual narrator). Also, she does a fantastic job of bringing the appropriate emotion at the right time., for each character, even during shared scenes. While I thought the first narrator was wonderful, Marhurite is as well.

Let's Do It Again!

After listening to King I HAD to continue with the whole series. This series is one of my favorites. The romance package has exposed me to authors I may have passed before. After finishing this series, I went back and bought King to keep the author in my library.
