Historia
When Monster Hunter International's top hunter, Owen Zastava Pitt, was given a tip about some hunters who had gone missing in action, he didn't realize their rescue mission would snowball into the single biggest operation in MHI's history. Their men are being held prisoner in a horrific nightmare dimension, and the only way to reach them is through the radioactive ruins of a monster-infested war zone. As if that wasn't bad enough, it's also the home base of the powerful creature behind the devastating attacks on the Last Dragon and Copper Lake.

Fantastic
Revisado: 08-13-18
I hesitated to listen to this book because of some of the reviews about not much happening and it being too introspective. I disagree with them for the most part. A lot of time is spent on Owen's dad and more could have happened storyline wise but a lot did happen. I feel like this book is setting up for the next one. Thet can be annoying sometimes but also necessary. Now, if the next in the main series doesn't significantly progress things then I'll be very disappointed.

Historia
Framed for a casino massacre, Harmony and Jessie are on the run - in the real world and in their own. From the seedy casinos of Atlantic City to the steamy bayous of Louisiana and the imposing facades of Washington, DC, there's not a soul on earth they can trust. The only way they can clear their names is to take down the conspiracy from within and uncover the truth behind a secret that both the government and the powers of hell want to keep buried.

Fantastic Continuation
Revisado: 05-25-18
When I read the first Harmony Black book in the series I was a little hesitant because I generally do not like when a story branches off. However, Craig Schaefer has done an absolutely amazing job with the Harmony Black series. Cold Spectrum is no different and just adds more to an already great story. Although the series can stand on its own without having to read the Daniel Faust series, I highly recommend starting with Daniel Faust and switching back and forth between the series' in the order they were released. That insures you'll fully enjoy the author's world.

Historia
Already faster and more powerful than the last 17 species that they have destroyed or subjugated, the Krall have set their sights on humankind. After testing humans on their future home world of Koban and finding them worthy opponents, the Krall start a war of slow extermination with the rest of humanity. The war is intended to last generations as they apply their own version of "natural selection" to cull their weaker warriors in combat, purifying the Krall gene pool with their finest warriors for breeding.

Only one complaint
Revisado: 07-12-17
My only complaint about this audio book is that the narrator is different from the first book. The first book's audio is extremely theatrical and this ones is just your basic audio book. To be clear, the narrator did a good job, but it felt like watching the sequel to a movie where all of the main characters more have different actors.

Historia
We colonized 700 planets. Humankind enjoyed the benefits of expansion room and the end of wars. We even disbanded our military. Then the Krall found us. The Krall have used thousands of years of combat to select the genes of the strongest and fastest warriors. They are a species determined to dominate the entire galaxy, through destruction and annihilation of every opponent.
Koban is an uninhabited high-gravity planet with impossibly fast savage animals, which employ organic superconducting nerves. This deadly world is where the Krall tested humans for war capability.

Fantastic book
Revisado: 06-29-17
The audio for this book is fantastic. However, it is very theatrical and therefore adds a lot of time to the overall read. This is just a guess but I'd say the added theatrics add at least 5 hours to the audio book. I really liked it though and definitely recommend this book.
