Historia
Rachel Hollis has seen it too often: women not living into their full potential. They feel a tugging on their hearts for something more, but they’re afraid of embarrassment, of falling short of perfection, of not being enough. In Girl, Stop Apologizing, number-one New York Times best-selling author and founder of a multimillion-dollar media company, Rachel Hollis sounds a wake-up call. She knows that many women have been taught to define themselves in light of other people - whether as wife, mother, daughter, or employee....

Too much for me
Revisado: 03-03-21
I liked the authors drive. However, she was too much for me in that she is overtly driven. She is over-the-top in my opinion and commercialized. Woman spend thousands of dollars to get healthy support from an author that states she hires a lot of people to do a lot things to make her life easier. I’ll stick with a friend for advice

Historia
People often think of Job sitting on the ash heap, his life in shambles. But how did he get there? What was Job's life like before tragedy struck? What did he think as his world came crashing down around him? And what was life like after God restored his wealth, health, and family? Through painstaking research and a writer's creative mind, Mesu Andrews weaves an emotional and stirring account of this well-known story told through the eyes of the women who loved him.

Positively inspired.
Revisado: 02-19-20
Beautiful imagination with a basis in biblical truth. Best narrator I have heard yet. Every voice was distinctive. Characters came to life. I did have to go back and review the line of Isaiah to gain a better grasp of the relatives. I will read this book again. Phenomenal.

But for all his wisdom, did he or the women in his life ever find what they searched for all of their lives? In this engrossing novel, you'll find yourself whisked away to ancient Israel, where you'll meet Solomon and four of the women he loved: Naamah the desert princess, Abishag the shepherdess, Siti, the daughter of a pharaoh, and Nicaula, the queen of Sheba. Did Solomon's wisdom ultimately benefit him and those he loved...or did it betray them?

Worth the wait
Revisado: 03-08-19
The book focuses on the various religions. I would find myself wanting more religion tied into the times outside of court. there is a great deal spent on coding. While my brain couldn’t wrap around that concept, it was worth racking my brain as the ending was Very powerful.
