One of my favorite will Trent books

I love the Will Trent series and what I love most about will is his relationships faith and Amanda. What I dislike intensely is Sarah. She is so self righteous and insufferable. I totally understand why she is not in the tv series yet the series is a disappointment to the incredible research and imagination of Karin Slaughter. The narration is perfect and her storylines are not just plausible but in many cases prophetic like in this book! I am inpatient waiting for the next book this summer.

A lot of the things in this book I had already read about but the more nefarious things that I suspected about the government, the police force and hateful white supremacists made my blood run cold. God Bless the author for having the courage to expose the white supremacists and Donald Trumps allegiance to these groups. I pray there are good white men like him than the evil ones that want to kill!

I liked the fact mystery but the story was annoying. There was only one character that was palatable and she played such a minor role in the story. I only listened to the end because I have been striking out with the books I have been picking lately.

Stop codifying truckers and tell the story.

I didn’t need to know what the day in the life of a trucker is. The writer presented the story in defense of truckers in stress of how serial killers have used the anonymity and the access to travel to rape torture and murder. There were facts about serial killers, the demographics of serial killers, their common psychopathy and even the region of America that many of them were brought up in a particular region of America.

Cassandra Campbell’s performances never disappoint

Might be my favorite Karin slaughter book yet. As much as I love Will and Amanda and Faith, Sarah not so much, I fell in love with both Cally and Lee. I love how she always no matter the danger beautiful illustrates grace and unconditional sisterly love with her heroines.

I love this writer but I think her editor does her and her stories a disservice not to get her to add more meat to stories
They are so important
The horrible history of the indigenous people should be interwoven into the story not an epilogue or footnote at the end. I hope to listen to more in the coming books about Cash.
