Excellent Story; Excellent Narration
Revisado: 04-27-25
A fun Beauty and the Beast type story that is fun, impactful, and delves into how someone could fall for a “monster” if they opened their minds and judged others on actions rather than appearances.
Those narrators did a fantastic job of separating the female and male vocals and perspectives!

Historia
With Hestia and her companions successfully escaping the Belzac Forest, what lies before them is their goal—civilization. Human civilization, though. Although a detour they hadn’t planned, it was now time for a young dragon to adapt to the expansive world of Peolynca outside her birthplace. Not only to its social customs, laws, and culture, but also to the growing number of eyes belonging to more than just monsters. The strong will attract the strong like a magnet, while the opportunists will look at this budding girl with interest.

Decent Story, but eh.
Revisado: 04-19-25
There are several parts in the book where the actions of the MC is that of a bratty child, which is annoying. The book also leaves the MC in a human body for most all of the book, despite this being about a dragon. The narrator stops mid sentence and restarts, rather than rerecording, when she messes up. That said, the narrator also does decent with accents, but poorly with masculine characters. There’s some interesting references to video games, like the kingdom being named after an important character in Dark Souls. Over all, this book was okay, but significantly less enjoyable than the last one.

A reluctant prince. A crumbling kingdom. A trial that will test his body, mind, and heart. Once in a generation, the dragon kingdoms must present their finest prince to compete for the hand of the future Celestial Empress. Bound by ancient tradition, these Chosen Princes are tasked with proving their worth—all while remaining celibate until the Celestial Courting Ceremony. For Zargris, the sole prince of the Twilight Kingdom, this was never a choice. An even better story than the first
Revisado: 04-01-25
The narrator did a better job throughout the story than the first, but the real point to make is how in depth the author gets with the emotions and the psychological impact of these dragons.
This is an amazing story with smut added in, not a smut story with plot. I fully recommend this adult story!

Historia
Our ability to foresee and protect against natural catastrophes has never been greater; yet we consistently fail to heed the warnings and protect ourselves and our communities, with devastating consequences. What explains this contradiction? In The Ostrich Paradox, Wharton professors Robert Meyer and Howard Kunreuther draw on years of teaching and research to explain why disaster preparedness efforts consistently fall short.

This book does a good job with explaining why stuff happens the way it does and why we react the way we react. It really makes you think about how one might change future decisions when they themselves are in any position of authority. Great read, highly recommended.

Great narration, fun story
Revisado: 02-23-25
The narrator did an absolutely amazing job with the vocal range. The book had moments that are less interesting, but the second half of the book just feels expertly done. Grief and loss are fully explored and trauma is examined expertly. I absolutely loved the second half of this story.

Historia
Lewis used to think school was hard. He’s only been a dragon for a week, but he's already nostalgic for boring human classes. Instead of math and science, he’s learning how to fly and hunt! It would be fun if he wasn’t so bad at it! Meanwhile, Becca and Jeremy are still coming to terms with his change. Becca thinks they need to stand by him. Jeremy has other designs.

Revisado: 02-07-25
The story picks up where the first left off, but is both written and narrated at an expert level. The way the characters act and interact with each other are believable. Honestly, I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys dragons in literature. Great pacing, great acting, great representation of how a dragon would act. Just an all around great story!

Historia
Lewis was always the lazy kid in school. After a harrowing hospital visit, he wakes up as a dragon. It's awesome, but he doesn't know the first thing about using his new body! Why is everything so fragile? And since when have people been so tasty? When he reveals himself to his friends, they don't know what to think. He's still Lewis, but he's also something a lot more dangerous. When he eats something he shouldn't have, the wrong people find out. Now, it's up to his friends to keep him out of trouble or risk losing him in the process.

Great Story; Fun but Short
Revisado: 02-04-25
The story is relatively short, but it was a very fun read. The narrator has robotic pauses throughout the story in the middle of sentences, but does a great job with differing the dialects and accents of characters.

A great romance smut story
Revisado: 02-01-25
This was a great story with lots of build up and romance, while keeping the listener interested to see what happens next. Only real complaint is that the narrator sometimes struggles to sound masculine enough for a big male, but it is to be expected.

Fun story, but poor narration.
Revisado: 12-28-24
The story was nice, though there were some points that seemed off, such as a character making whiplash decisions that contradict paragraphs worth of set up. Those are few and far in between, but the narrator had a less than stellar performance, especially with voicing certain characters, that distracted the listener.

Historia
Since the Cold War, outer space has become of strategic importance for nations looking to seize the ultimate high ground. World powers establishing a presence there must consider, among other things, how they will conduct warfare in orbit. Leaders must dispense with "Buck Rogers" notions about operations in space and realize that policies there will have serious ramifications for geopolitics. How should nations view space? How should they fight there? What would space warfare look like and how should strategists approach it?
