Richard Fox writes like a spineless, entitled, pretend officer. It is disgraceful to real Americans, and especially US Marines as Fox uses my Marines as a foundation for his own cowardice and jello for a backbone when it comes down to doing what is right and what politicians (SCUM) tell you to do!!
If not for Mark Ibarra and Stacey Ibarra the totality of all humanity would be erased from existence and from memory of the Xaros genocidal civilization. The Admirals, Generals, and worthless politicians that survived all plunged knives into the backs that saved them many many times. The Ibarras should have simply executed every officer O-6 or Colonel and above, plus the spineless politicians like Valdar and Garrett became after the Xaros! You do not hand over your best weapons to your enemies! Why would you do the same to your allies? Those of us whom have been to war know that the enemy of my enemy is simply another enemy you will have to fight given some time!
Fox’s characters like Elias and Gideon are not morally capable of doing the right thing. Neither are they mentally capable of discerning the end of a mission. One good battle is not the end of a mission. The end of the mission was to protect Humanity and it did not specify the specific threat. Save humanity from genocidal aliens not one psycho alien species, but EVERY psycho alien species!

GARBAGE ABSOLUTE GARBAGE

The writing is atrocious! The female characters are RAPISTS, grifters, murderers, and thieves! This author, virgil knightly just made my Do Not Buy list! The female narrator's voice makes any who hear it beg to become deaf! There is nothing good about this book!

John Corwin is NOT an author! Neither is he skilled enough to be considered a writer. At best, Corwin is a hack-scribbler with crayons he has yet to eat!!

FAILURE AS AN AUDIOBOOK

Ive read this entire series and it was not as ridiculous sounding, ignorant, and flat out embarrassing to read as it is in the audiobooks! Ok books, but the narrators absolutely ruin this entire series! Each book grows worse and more ridiculous with each new edition! Like I said, BAD BAD NARRATORS!!
Oh, Logan Jacobs character using American slang when talking to native Americans and other non English speaking, technologically inept tribes of humans and aliens and he makes them all understand each other as if theyy were all from same time and place. It’s idiotic and pathetic writing at best. Really it should be illegal!

Dont waste your money on this garbage!! Read the books instead!

CRAIG HALLORAN IS A HORRIBLE WRITER!!

This female narrator is ATROCIOUS!!! This entire series, for fantasy it is amazingly PATHETIC writing! The storyline and plots within each book is an embarrassment to genre! The characters act as ridiculous as toddlers and their fight scenes are chapters long and full of ignorant monologues!! What did this writer have to give up or whose desk did he have to climb under to get this trash published? I want my MONEY BACK!

CHEAP AUTHOR CHEAP STORIES FAILS IN TRUTH

If you’re an author of even the cheapest fantasy garbage like this book, use realistic methods of subjects like survival situations. If a couple of kids end up in a survival situation and this book and the characters diy survival to do list is the only things they know of staying alive, you will likely be the catalyst in their deaths!
You do not sterilize a blade by heating it in a fire! 2nd- you most certainly do not tan deer hide or any hide scraping it clean and smoking it in a fire! You will end wearing decomposing, utterly reeking of death, and crawling in disease causing bacteria!!! Every animal has a brain equivalent in size and the needed fats to completely coat the size of its hide to properly tan it!! I know this is fiction and fantasy, but if you add real world scenarios, add real world “how to” or just dont add realism to improve your falsities!!

DON'T BUY MERCHANT'S WORK

ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC STORYTELLING, Merchant is also so VERRRY MUCH ANTI-MALE and drives that point home in every book she gets published. Every male character she creates is ALWAYS less intelligent or lacking in the common sense category when compared with every female character and characters that share their lives together in her fictional worlds. If said males are highly intelligent, like MIT material intelligence, Merchant makes them so cowardly, weak, could not fight their way out of a wet, paper sack and would urinate in their pants if someone slapp d hem! it is embarrassing having to let the world know that Ive had to read her books!

the female narrator attempting to use the LA spainglish is ATROCIOUS!!! Reading the book is tolerable, but the audio book could be used by the CIA enhanced interrogation.

The writer needs to graduate high school before trying to write anything other than a grocery list!! Oh, “Taking the High Road” and “The Moral High Ground” they are simply the last bastion of a coward’nWANT MY MONEY BACK!! It feels like i am being ROBBED BY AUDIBLE.COM AND THIS PATHETIC WRITER!
The NARRATORS DO NOT KNOW HOW TO PROPERLY PRONOUNCE WORDS. Also they have no desire to improve their ability in their work! It is written or sound’s written by adolescents. Aweful
He needs to read a Logan Jacob’s book and learn
