I really hope this series isn’t going to start going to much BS relationship/romance, or smut in it. Seams like it is starting to head that way, and that would mess up a good series.

As good as the 1st until it gets mushy at the end

I really liked the 1st, and this was just as good until about 1/2 way through. Then it all went to 💩. The awesome battles became average. The MC got more stupid and sappy. Then they stopped walking you through his thought process. Even in the middle of a battle the book slowed down for sappy mushy 💩. Dumb 💩 MC kicks everyone to the curb in a stupid emotional decision that gets dragged out way to long. This series could be great, but the last few hours of this book make it sound like they are flushing greatnesses down the toilet 🚽, just so it can be another average pile of 💩. Seriously either make the 3rd book awesome like the 1st book, or don’t write it at all. I’m sick of good series being turned into sappy mushy dumpster 🔥‘s just because someone things they will sell more that way.

Normally I’m not a fan of book where they stay in the game the whole time, and never interact with the real would after getting “stuck” in the game. With that being said. Even though this book does that. As a LitRPG it’s very Meh, but as a Fantasy story with LitRPG elements it’s an awesome story. You feel like you’re linked into the MC’s brain, and just along for the ride in a good way.

You get a front row 1st person seat to the MC using logic and common sense to work through choices and decisions. The MC makes logical common sense choices for the most part, but the battles are where this book really shines.

You feel as if you are watching them through the eyes of the MC. They aren’t over or under detailed, and just like the rest of the book. You feel like you are hanging out in the MC’s head, watching everything through his eyes.

It’s an excellent start to what could be an awesome story, and world as long as the author doesn’t F*** it up by making the MC get stupid and make bad decisions because of a girl. Going heavy on the romance or add sex smut has ruined many a good book/series. I really really hope that doesn’t happen here.

New narrator no good

The new narrator isn’t as good as the one that did the 1st 2 books. Hopefully they switch back to the original narrator.

Good story, but very light on game mechanics

If this wasn’t supposed to be LitRPG then I would have rated the story higher, but it was very light on game mechanics, and things like hp & mp not self regenerating made for awkward game mechanics that never seamed to be explained. If this had been performed by someone other than Sound booth. Then I’m not sure that I would have even finished it.

It took a little to get into, but after that it was great!

Great concept from a different perspective. Normally it don’t really like the “trapped in the game” scenario because the author uses it as a copout having to deal with anything outside of the game world, but I don’t feel like that’s the case in this book, plus I love the snarky sarcastic humor.

What the heck is this garbage! I mean really I like the series until this book. It does feel like it part of the same series, and the Foreplay and sex scenes. Where starting to get ridiculous in the last book, but in this book it feels like the author is just half***ing the rest of the book just to get to the smut. Complete and totally fail on this one! The author should switch Genres if he wants to keep writing this kind of dreck.
