Is there a forgotten spiritual tool that anyone we can all use to heal ourselves - and our world? A type of prayer that transcends religion, mysticism, and science? On Inner Technology of Prayer, Gregg Braden reveals the ability of the ancient Essenes to make miracles through the alignment of body, mind, and feeling, which is the lost "fifth mode" of prayer.

Excellent Work
Revisado: 01-28-19
Graham Hancock presents a cogent argument with a volume of scientific evidence that made this an amazing book. The audio version is a great way to go through the book and with a paperback to review and revisit pictures, drawings, charts, and specific sections.

True Self, False Self

Historia
Franciscan priest Richard Rohr feels that there is no more challenging spiritual issue than the “problem of the self". Most of contemporary spiritual teaching, he believes, is still trying to inspire and fortify the private self, the autonomous "I". Even much church work is trying to evangelize and sacramentalize what many would call "the false self." Basic transformation is not expected, but merely a new set of beliefs and practices or loyal membership in a new group.

Amazing - making sense of the Bible....
Revisado: 11-01-17
Rob Bell has done an amazing job of getting me thinking about the Bible again and seeing the text in an entirely different way. Too often, it is read with a simple meaning and without the context behind the passage, the political and spiritual context of the time, and the meaning behind the obvious. Rob, you opened my eyes and I hope you continue to preach these insights and to write another book and give us some pointers on how to begin our own research.

Historia
Present moment awareness is an essential ingredient in life if one expects to experience any degree of authentic peace and contentment. It has been acknowledged for centuries as the cornerstone of spiritual awakening in all traditions of Eastern thought. In the West, however, it is still a relatively unrecognized concept for living. The Western mind is always restless, never content with the moment.
