This book was a fun intro into Carl's dungeon crawl. Very creative world building and creatures. It made me laugh out loud a few times too. By the end, the reader is invested into the story, and I quickly downloaded the next book in the series. The narrator does an excellent job, if you choose to absorb your reading with audio books.

I loved everything about this series. Well written, plenty of action, an overall fun read. Cover art kicks ass too. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters to life. Not too chunky on game stats, which I liked.

This trilogy has been non-stop action and adventure. The author is a true storyteller. This book concludes the story, but of course leaves it wide open for more. And there is more…The world in these books is also represented in others the author has written. All solid books too, I might add. The narrator did a great job as well.
