I’m 2 minutes late to say I finished it on release day!! And that’s meaning something (to me)!
Holy, what did we just read?
This novel is on par with catching fire if not even the best in the whole series. Honestly.
Super fast paste, like really … you can’t stop… tons of deep meanings… but not as dark as the ballad of songbirds and snakes… which may or may not be a good thing for you but I enjoyed every moment of this entry.
Also… you haven’t read the trilogy? No biggie !! I would say, this could be read as stand alone and the story would be still enjoyable…

I got the audiobook to the special edition book and I’m glad I listened to it while reading (partially) because while the story started strong, the speaker saved the score to 4/5 stars!
