I loved this book, and my husband hated it. But I remember the preceeding books, and he did not, so for him the book was a confusing jumble with no plot. So, between is the rating is 2 or 3.

I gave up early.

I did not the like the way this author wrote at all. I found the premise flawed, I mean who goes out for an evening and not check on their kids when they get home. Who would wake up in the morning finding their child missing and not call the police first thing. All kinds of logical flaws. Can you tell that I hated it. And did I mention I really disliked the style and structure of the writing. But, since I did not finish, maybe you might think different.

I loved this book!!!

I really enjoyed hearing Obama give a look into his thoughts and feelings about family, friends, and jobs he has done. Listening to him throughout this book I am reminded of how much I felt he cared about our country and it's people when he was our president in the white house!!!!

Do not purchase this book if you are using an ipod

I know this is 'out of bounds' for a review, but it is very frustrating to reach a point in the book where all you hear is 'da-da-da-da-da forever. There is no solution but to switch to streaming or some other alternative. As with other long books on Audible, You just can not use an ipod nano. Other long books an Audible like this are- 'Oathbringer". 'Kristin Lavandater', nd others over 35 hours. Hope this helps. Audible sure can't.
