Amazing
Revisado: 11-01-24
This book, Seeing Angels, clarified a LOT about angels and how they work to help, protect, and defend people under God's leading and according to Scripture. It is very emcouraging, easy to grasp, and shares many true encounters people have experienced with angels. I am going to listen a second time now! Highly recommended!!!

The premise of my Revelation decoder book, End Times Major Clues from Minor Prophets, is that the LORD has awakened His chosen warriors, and we are right now in the epic Battle of Armageddon, fighting the battle of good versus evil. After we defeat our enemies, we will enjoy 1,000 years of peace on Earth. That truth is not just found in the book of the Revelation. That wonderful truth is found all throughout God’s Word. That truth is just exactly what we need to know to have the courage and stamina to keep fighting until the war is over and our enemies are gone!

I knew the Scriptures about a lot of what is shared in this book but I didn't actually understand most of how it all fit together. I knew that the rupture wasn't true but this book helped to clarify how Scripture is all coming together NOW. Thank you, Melissa, for writing these 3 books. Now on to #3!

Clarity, FINALLY!
Revisado: 06-17-24
Having visited almost every itiration of Christian "sects," e.g., Southern Baptist, American Baptist, Methodist, Church of Christ, Church of God in Christ, Roman Catholic, United Pentecostal Church, Inter-denominational, Non-denominational, Nazarine, etc., I found it infinitely sad at all the artificial walls humans have built to separate Christians from each other. FINALLY, the Enlows have shed glorious LIGHT on these false teachings and have, through anointed teaching, clarified that Yeshua FINISHED it all...He will not ever give up the FULL CREATION that He suffered for, purchased, fully defeated mankind's enemy-satan, and has total and complete VICTORY. It is mankind that needs to finally, once and for all, to step up and BE His SONS (this is NOT a gender issue, but the "planting seed-the WORD" function).
Finally, that false, sacred cow called "the rapture," that was NEVER taught until the mid-1800 in the US, is fully skewered and shown in its stupidity and deception (another clarifying book is "Raptureless."). Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, Enlows!!! I am on my third listening now.

Thomas and Tasmin, twin siblings hired to oversee a wedding feast in Cana, worry when the host runs out of wine...until a guest tells Tasmin to have the servants fill the pitchers by the gate with water from the cistern. Reluctantly, she obeys and is amazed when rainwater turns into the finest wine ever tasted in Cana. When Thomas impulsively decides to follow the teacher from Nazareth, he and Tasmin argue - since the twins have been together since the womb, Tasmin can't accept losing her brother to some magician-prophet.

What a refreshing, beautiful book demonstrating how events did and might have surrounded the revealing of the Son of God. I never thought about it through the eyes of His brothers. This was a different view of what might have been as Yeshua's half brothers came to recognize who He actually was and IS. I highly recommend this book!

Historia
Alan, the beadle of the manor of Bampton, had gone out at dusk to seek those who might violate curfew. When, the following morning, he had not returned home, his young wife Matilda had sought out Master Hugh de Singleton, surgeon and bailiff of the manor. Two days later Alan’s corpse was discovered in the hedge, at the side of the track to St. Andrew’s Chapel. His throat had been torn out - his head was half severed from his body - and his face, hands, and forearms were lacerated with deep scratches.

Historia
Hugh of Singleton, fourth son of a minor knight, has been educated as a clerk, usually a prelude to taking holy orders. However, feeling no certain calling despite a lively faith, he turns to the profession of surgeon, training in Paris and then hanging out his sign in Oxford. A local lord asks him to track the killer of a young woman whose bones have been found in the castle cesspit. She is identified as the impetuous missing daughter of a local blacksmith, and her young man, whom she had provoked very publicly, is in due course arrested and sentenced at the Oxford assizes.

Very Interesting and Enlightening
Revisado: 08-10-23
I had no idea that this series included John Wycliffe, one of the first to translate the Bible into English and was outspoken against some of the more egregious acts of some of the leaders in the Roman Catholic AND the Church of England churches. He apparently becomes a riveting side storyline in the series, which I look forward to.
The story itself is an exciting mystery as well as a view into England in the late fourteenth century. This first book is an introduction to many of the characters, including the main protagonist, who is a surgeon (I had no idea that surgeons had little respect for doctors and vice versa at that time). I'm downloading the second book now!

Outstanding and Educational
Revisado: 08-09-23
I had no idea about who this book was about. I bought it because of the Hallmark trilogy The Wedding Veil. It was an entertaining and educational account about the Vanderbilt family's women (mostly) and the largest house in America in the early 1900s, the Biltmore in Ashville, NC. The author's note at the end explains the year-long research and what was provable facts and what was just educated guessing. If you like great stories, based on true facts, told by a good author, you'll like this book-I read it in one day as I had a hard time putting it down.

Historia
Maisie Dobbs got her start as a maid in an aristocratic London household when she was thirteen. Her employer, suffragette Lady Rowan Compton, soon became her patron, taking the remarkably bright youngster under her wing. Lady Rowan’s friend, Maurice Blanche, often retained as an investigator by the European elite, recognized Maisie’s intuitive gifts. The outbreak of war changed everything. Ten years after the Armistice, in the spring of 1929, Maisie sets out on her own as a private investigator, one who has learned that coincidences are meaningful, and truth elusive.

Fantastic Read!
Revisado: 07-29-23
I've never heard of this author, but for some reason I am really drawn to WWI and II era books. The story is not only an interesting tale about the build-up to the First World War, but it gives a glimpse into the fast changes between the class statuses in GB. It shows one view of how education could help people "move up" in class and how a country sends it's sons and daughters into unimaginable terror and situations they are not prepared for. I'm glad it's a series because it'll be enjoyable and enlightening to hear Maisie's continuing challenges in a fast changing society.
The narrator is very impressive with her many voices-it was easy to know which character was which. Great job!

Historia
"No matter what happens over the next few hours and days—everyone, remain calm. This is not the end, but only the end of the world as we know it...." Unfortunately, when some people read the phrase “end of the world”, they envision cataclysmic scenarios that involve apocalyptic doom and global destruction. They tend to see all chaos and crisis through this negative lens, and sadly, it destroys their hope for the future. This is not that kind of message!

Very Informative
Revisado: 07-27-23
This book is eye-opening, and by listening to it, a Christian whose spiritual eyes and ears are opened to His indwelling Spirit will come to understand a lot of what is happening in our nation and world today. It is an opening of some obscure passages that many believers have opined upon for almost two millennea, but could not correctly interpret because they were intentionally obscured until now. It's less than 2 hours but easy to listen to; in fact, I listened to it twice, back to back.

Very Emotional But Encouraging
Revisado: 07-13-23
Lynn Austin is a new author to me, but this book was way more than I expected. It was simply incredible. If you are not a person of faith you may not like listening to it, BUT if you want to experience real life characters in all their flawed, sinful, caring, screwed up ways struggling to understand life, truth, and why people do things the way they do, and how our actions bring joy and heartache to those around us then this book is for you. You'll laugh, cry, rage, sob, fume...you will experience every emotion until the final word. In a few months I will certainly listen to this amazing story again!
