I loved the Martian and was worried Project Hail Mary would be a letdown. It was great, though I kept thinking of Mark Watney at times. Great dialogue, sad, hilarious, and thoughtful at times. Listened to it on a 6 hr drive to Minnesota and another 6 hours back. Finished it the next day at home. Could not stop listening. Loved the calculations and science technobabble. Great nerdy stuff. Favorite characters are Rocky and Eva Stratt

To sum up, it's funny, thought-provoking has great characters, and did I mention it is a wacky buddy story.

Great accents and emotion to the dialogue.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

No. Mostly good harmless fun.

Billy's performance. Very moving and funny.

Steve Martin's and Tina Fey's autobiography are similar.

I would not. My friend would not be interested. Different tastes I guess. I would recommend it to others though.

Where does Faithful rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It rank a 7 out of 10. Enjoyable listen but probably not something I will listen to again.

What other book might you compare Faithful to and why?

It is unique to any other thing I have read.

What does Ron McLarty and Adam Grupper bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Much better to listen to this book than reading it. They bring a lot to the book.

Would you consider the audio edition of Bossypants to be better than the print version?

Yes especially since Tina Fey is reading it to you.

What other book might you compare Bossypants to and why?

Steve Martin's Born Standing Up. They are both comedians though their stories are very different.

I have not but if she has read before I would consider looking for those books.

What did you love best about A Rage in Harlem?

Samuel L Jackson's performance.

What did you like best about this story?

The story is mostly about confidence games, the old con and greed. Quite entertaining.

What about Samuel L. Jackson’s performance did you like?

I love hearing SLJ swear. Made me laugh a few times. Reminds me of Snakes on a Plane.

Where does Packing for Mars rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Very entertaining. Just as good a book as Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers

What other book might you compare Packing for Mars to and why?

Very similar to Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers only the subject is space.

What does Sandra Burr bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She managed to capture the quirkiness of the subject matter.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It was very funny at times and educational at times. I learned that doing mundane tasks in space require lots of technology and great aim.
