Historia
With great corruption comes great power. Jack is pretty sure that's the way the saying goes. It's a good thing, too, for the war in Ter’nodril, which he’d hoped would spell the beginning of the end for the DIR, instead left him corrupted, body and soul. The good news is that the Fallen used the Blight that now fills his veins as a weapon in their war against the gods themselves. He’s sure that he can find a way to use it, too, to destroy Valia Online once and for all. He even knows exactly who he'll test its power against first: Manhart.

Historia
When virtual reality becomes real enough that people feel as if they're being transported to another world, Valia Online arrives. A man running from his past joins the game to forget it all. Calling himself Jack Thorn, he chooses an undead race, Deathlord. A mage by choice, and a swordsman by necessity, he soon finds out that he'll need to use much more than magic and steel to survive; strategy, creativity, and carefully chosen words can often accomplish what simple attacks can't.

Best LitRPG Book on Audible!!!
Revisado: 01-01-20
Edward Castle has been able to mix a dynamic cast of characters into a story that allows a view into a world that's morally gray, and deeply compelling!

If you really have ADHD, then get a different book
Revisado: 04-24-19
This book is good if you want to diagnose ADHD, but if you have ADHD and you're looking for support and good advice then pickup, "The ADHD Advantage", or "the ADHD toolkit". This book makes ADHD out as a disease and not a neurological variation.

Historia
In his most provocative and practical book yet, one of the foremost thinkers of our time redefines what it means to understand the world, succeed in a profession, contribute to a fair and just society, detect nonsense, and influence others. Citing examples ranging from Hammurabi to Seneca, Antaeus the Giant to Donald Trump, Nassim Nicholas Taleb shows how the willingness to accept one's own risks is an essential attribute of heroes, saints, and flourishing people in all walks of life.

Read his other books first
Revisado: 01-01-19
The book is full of sharp writing, both in style and his approach to confronting the problems in the world today. I strongly suggest that you read his last book "Antifragil" before this one, do to some call backs. The author could be seen as overly aggressive to some, I personally enjoy his books for his focus on what works over what's commonly excepted.

Silicon Valley is imperializing the planet. With nearly bottomless supplies of cash and ambition, a small group of companies have been gradually seizing symbolic and practical civic leadership in America and worldwide. But Silicon Valley does not answer to the electorate; nor have they been voted into office. And the perils of their influence are only now making themselves known.

They read the code examples! They don't talk about the different use cases for the different operations, they just give you what the java docs would tell you without any framing or situational scenarios to guide the readers understanding of the material.

Historia
Superintelligence asks the questions: What happens when machines surpass humans in general intelligence? Will artificial agents save or destroy us? Nick Bostrom lays the foundation for understanding the future of humanity and intelligent life. The human brain has some capabilities that the brains of other animals lack. It is to these distinctive capabilities that our species owes its dominant position. If machine brains surpassed human brains in general intelligence, then this new superintelligence could become extremely powerful - possibly beyond our control.
