Komarr is a great follow up the Memory as a more mature Miles Vorkosigan begins the next stage of his life. When he and another Imperial Auditor investigate an incident that damages the solar mirror that provides energy to the domed planet Miles finds himself experiencing unexpected feelings towards a new acquaintance. In Komarr, Bujold does an excellent job of depicting a woman who has tried to play by all the rules, only to find that she is trapped by the very traditions she chose to honor.

Strong follow up to Curse of Chalion

When I was looking for other books by Bujold, I discovered The Curse of Chalion and Palidin of Souls. While both of these books are vastly different from the Vorkosigan books, neither disappoints. In this book, mad Ista, who has recovered from the curse, discovers that the gods are not yet done with her. Great world building.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I would recommend this book to a friend. It's funny and heartfelt.

What other book might you compare My Nest Isn't Empty, It Just Has More Closet Space to and why?

I would compare this book to Scottoline's Why My Third Husband Will be a Dog.

Which character ??? as performed by Lisa Scottoline and Francesca Scottoline Serritella ??? was your favorite?

I enjoyed Lisa. I am middle-aged like her, so I identified with her and her life.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

More dogs! More fun!

Any additional comments?

Aging parents, empty nests, psycho cats, sweet dogs, spanx---this book has it all!
