Home Run! Slam Dunk! Touch-Down! Move out of the way James Patterson, you've been de-throned!!! I've been a JP fan for many, many years, with the Alex Cross series. I've listened to them all up to date and I loved them all! I live in the Washington, DC Metro area, so I am familiar with the locations, etc. But, this "Martyr Maker Series" by Eriq La Salle aka "Soul Glow" from Coming To America has proven himself to be a top-notch storyteller! Eriq, your character development is unmatched! Phe & Quincy are my favorite! For me, your conveying of the Black culture and each's personal swag set them apart. Also, I loved how you developed Agent Macklin along with her life issues. My man E, you did an awesome job, and I am grateful that you shared your God-given gift with me. I'm eagerly looking forward to the next book, we've got to get Liam off the streets. In addition, will be see more about "The African" & Phe's father? I encourage everyone that is reading this review, get the book or the Audible version and enjoy a great and awesome series!

This book excels in every area! Great to know the ‘Soul Glow’ character not only acts, but writes and narrates extremely well! Kept me engaged and locked in place! Getting ready to start the second book!

What made the experience of listening to Murder Mamas the most enjoyable?

The characters are off the hook, and the entire story line is a great one.

The raw truth about 'the game'.

If you could sum up The Couple Next Door in three words, what would they be?

Twisting, Edge-Of-Your-Seat, Top-Notch-Thriller

What other book might you compare The Couple Next Door to and why?

None at this time, the ones I usually listen to are military action. This was recommended by a young lady I've worked with, and she suggested it, and I decided to give it a try. Glad I did!

Have you listened to any of Kirsten Potter’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, but I will say, this one will not be the last.

Great book, loved to story, loved the twists, especially the dedicated detective. Love the narrator, all other books I listen to, are done by men, but this narrator did a great job.

Started With A Bang...Ended In A Fizzle!!

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would recommend this book based on the first one, and it being a decent follow-up, but the ending is lacking.

Which character – as performed by Jeffrey Kafer – was your favorite?

All characters are great, Jeffrey Kafer is the reason for me listening to this, and the first part.

Did Feast inspire you to do anything?

Because I did not like the ending, I was inspired to find another series to delve into.

Jeffrey Kafer, keep doing your thing, you are the Boss as a narrator! Jeremiah Knight, I hope that you are writing a follow-up to this one, and please, take your time, develop a twisting, action packed conclusion! Once you do that, let me know, and I will retract all I said here.

My First King Novel; Possibly My Last...

I was rated the best first: the narrator! He is the best; it was his voice and his delivery that pulled me into the story.

Things started off great; until the spider/turtle thing coupled with the outer space cosmos stuff; a total turn-off for me.

The last and most detestable part of the book was the ‘child sex’. That took the entire book to a very low place; in my opinion. The ‘togetherness’ of Bill & the gang (great stuff); but the aforementioned area took things down for me.

I almost stopped and went to Audible for a refund. Continued to listen and enjoyed the ride. Definitely a adult story and filled with accuracy in regard to 'Black Church Life'.

I Was Expecting More...

It started off great, loved the twists and turns Pig the story. But two story lines were developed and one was concluded but not the other. Like getting a Chic-Fil-A meal, then as you begin to enjoy it, no fries! Everyone knows you must have the fries for it to be a complete meal.

Not as good as the others...

Even though it we as not as good as the others in the series of 'The Chess Team'. It provided me a good jump-off into the team and their adventures.
