Slow start then wowsa finish

Took a bit to catch on - the use of sound effects instead of dialogue was a tough go at first but so glad I perservered.
worth it in the end. Double level story line that doesn't hit you until finished. hmmmm.

Let me give you.a hint as to who done it. Let me point the clues this way. My previous books I made the killer appear out of thin air but this one I will just leave a path of boulders for the reader to follow. So annoying. Wasted series. wasted time

Characters come across as quite shallow without depth of proper development to create that I want to know you better feeling.
Let me just pick a random person to be the killer. No reason just that one is needed for resolve the mystery. Obviously never read rules for crafting a mystery story and never read about the original women's detective club. Where is the editor?

Totally enjoyable!!! Great read - well crafted story. Major Lennox and Detective Inspector Swift again rise to the occasion. Even morre detecting and twists this time around.

The first of three cozy mysteries. Like creating a paint by number painting book style. This is one of three stories that should have been crafted at most with proper editing into two stories. Will not spend credits for this author again.

rehash

I really enjoy Sara Rosett books. But this is a rehash of other traveling murders set in this time frame and a weak story line.
I gave it a chance because of it being by Sara Rosett. I wish she had given it another polish, deeper character development.
The condescension toward the reader knowledge during the story line was a bit much.
there was nothing memorable here. so sad.

Space Zombies hidden later revealed.....

The story was going great, mystery in outer space with a few military detailed battles. But when he pulled out the space Zombies I returned . Try relying on your story telling abilities instead. At least if you had mentioned it in the review there were going to be zombies - I would have avoided altogether. Geez. and this is a series. Will definitely pass on these.

Memorable for all the wrong reasons

Just couldn't take it. the story line the accents the shrill voices, I can suspend belief to enjoy a story with the best but this just didn't work. Couldn't even finish. Didn't even want to finish. Didn't even want to skip ahead and see if it got better. Finally realized too many other books to listen to instead of trying to enjoy this one. Wowsa - that this was published- amazing.

That was 13 hours and 43 minutes? Seemed like the blink of an eye. R. R Haywood - can you ever tell a story. Gritty as they come but current and relevant. Gives lots to think about. Amazingly I just finished and I want the next installment - now!!! Both narrators did an excellent job - Best. Day. Ever. Character development off the chart pulled me right in and made me care. Not only was I entertained I was transported to another time and place. So sad R R Haywood has so many other projects going means waiting so long for book 2. Now if he is adding an addition to the Extracted series and Worldship Humanity series
soon I could understand. Great job, great book. Enjoyed the escape.
