Great character development in Dutch and his comrades!

Over all it was a fine Zombie Apocalypse story. Stayed grounded. It didn’t get metaphysical (which I like most of the time) but the characters are what kept me interested!

Mark’s ability to tell an amazing story w/o pandering.

Disliked the fact that it’s OVER and I loved the entire series! Mark sure can spin a yarn and keep you interested and invested in the characters.

Historia
A strange phenomenon is sweeping the globe. People are having visions, seeing angels, experiencing events that defy reality. Bizarre accounts pour in from distant places: a French teenager claims to have witnessed Joan of Arc being burned at the stake; a man in New York dies of malnutrition in a luxurious Central Park apartment; a fundamentalist Christian sect kidnaps and murders a geneticist.

Very bitter point of view
Revisado: 09-08-22
The author obviously has a deep disgust for religion and people of faith. The only people who appear to have any sense of "right or wrong" are Academics and all else are Troglodytes. I gave the book the benefit of the doubt intrigued at the beginning but like 70 year old boxer working out in the gym, he Telegraphed the punch/ending in a ponderous way.
