Loved this cozy little zombie tale! Archie rocks!

First off, I'm a German Shepherd owner - have been most of my life, so of course I love a Shepherd Hero :) But the story itself is very well written and I enjoyed it immensely. Being a combat soldier myself, I particularly loved Jonah and some of his military knowledge, but it was subtle, just spattered in here and there.... so not at all too much. Loved Archie (that goes without saying :)) and loved little Sophia. I have a feeling she will be something of a force to be reckoned with in future books in this series --- just a hunch - but I can't wait to find out.

The USA would immediately be plunged back to the 1850’s. Most people would die within the first six months. Zack Johnson is no hero; in fact, he has been lost since his divorce, but he does have some valuable prepper skills to help him survive.

Really made me think - what would I do?

Loved it! Really had me wondering what I would do if something like this really happened. Seems possible these days. I really enjoyed this audiobook and will definitely buy the next one in the series.
