Historia
Janey's never felt this way before, but Frank is forbidden. It's only one dirty dance...what could go wrong? Legend says everyone who boards the Oceanic Aphrodite finds love. Janey's on the ship to teach dance, not for romance. Then she meets Frank. He's everything Janey isn't - refined, classy, rich - but his good looks and charm make him undeniably appealing. Unfortunately, he's also a passenger. When Janey's partner can't perform in the end-of-cruise talent show, Frank offers to fill in. He's never done pole, but she's got time to teach him.

Super fun, especially as a vacation read!
Revisado: 12-26-19
I liked the mash-up of Dirty Dancing, pole dancing, and cruise ships. In this story, the dance instructor is a woman and the novice on vacation is a man. This gave me a different perspective on the story; I hadn't thought of the class issues involved in the relationship before. And although the story is like Dirty Dancing in a lot of ways, a lot of different and unexpected things happen. The guy (doctor/dancer) sounded like a total hunk. The narrator has a "normal person" voice instead of a fancy voice, which suited the main character, and I could also tell the difference between people speaking based on their voices and accents (which is important in an audio book). This would be a great romance to read on a cruise ship! (I got a free copy of the audiobook in exchange for an honest review.)
