Historia
Gryff has his hands pretty full in the south. Not only is Varleth still missing, but now Veopa has awakened in the country of Vay. Plus, his women have been emboldened by his hawk wife Freya, and now they all want to bear him children. It’s a hard job, but someone’s gotta do it, and Gryff is certainly not complaining.

Fantastic listen for an epic series
Revisado: 08-08-20
Always love to hear Joshua story provide his performance on this series. Bringing to life the personalities Eric creates. This time we finish up in the south but with all kinds of new issues to deal with and additions to the cast. More information is learned to portent future problems and we find ourselves once again waiting for more as this incredible world continues to unfold book by book.

Slightly disjointed. But an overall good read
Revisado: 01-19-19
Least enjoyable of the first 3 books, but a necessary step I suppose. It takes the familiar and smooth plot line of the first two books and splits it into 3 that don't line up till the last few chapters. I see why the author pulled the timeline of X to a constant historical flashback, but it just didn't mesh with the current day lines. It might have been better to split all the flashback into its own segment, end in miami, and then start up the current day and continue till it can merge with the historical preamble. Still a great story, just not as enjoyable.

Not quite what I expected
Revisado: 01-08-19
Overall the series was very good and easy to enjoy. The last book, this book, felt too disjointed. Aside from the odd time jumps at several points the story also went in a direction that didn't seem to make sense. It felt like the author was told to be less predictable so he broke from what was already planned. The end was to blunt, leaving way to much unfinished.

Not bad, but not necessary either
Revisado: 11-22-18
Complete side story about paradise. While some was really good, parts felt stretched and unnecessary or glossed over too fast for good cohesion. More like a group of tangent story ideas that didn't make it into the main books wrapped together to force a story. Bit pricy for the content quality and quantity.
