Another 5*

I have listened to every Kim Stone book on Audible. If I could give all of the stories 10 stars, I would. How Marsons comes up with each plot is truly astounding/horrifying/fascinating. The characters are all exceptional —in particular I loved seeing Tracy Frost front and center in this episode.
Also kudos to the narrator, Jan Kramer. She is absolutely fabulous. Whenever she is the narrator, I buy the book.

Read all of the Kim Stone series from Angela Marsons and picked this up to read until another Kim Stone comes my way. The Forgotten Woman does not disappoint. My oh my, Ms. Marsons knows her craft and is one of the best authors of books I have ever had the privilege of reading. Her characters are mired in the grime of life but manage to overcome. Strong female protagonists, all. I cannot recommend this book highly enough.
As an aside, excellent narration!

Excellent writing and narration. I have followed the Kim Stone episodes from Series 1 on Audible, and not a one disappoints. The narrator is superb— please always use her!
I often wonder how Angela Marsons comes up with each storyline: each is unique, gruesome, and eminently satisfying!

Excellent Series
Revisado: 04-08-19
I’ve been listening to this Kim Stone series in order from Book 1. I started it originally because I love the narrator, Jan Cramer. But the writing in this series is absolutely excellent, and I was hooked from the first pages. The details, the suspense, the flawed but eminently likable heroine, and the ancillary characters that populate the storylines, are believable and well drawn out. I look forward to the reminder of the series!

I am a vibrant feminist and was not believing that this story involved male sadistic behaviors throughout. I have to go take a long shower now to wipe away the disappointment I feel.

First off, the narrator for this book is good. I enjoyed listening to her voice and her inflections. Second, the storyline was very good to excellent. I listen to books when I'm walking or on the treadmill or at the gym, and they are always a nice way to while away the time. This book kept me interested and anxious to get back to see what was going to happen next.

Eighteen months into their marriage, however, Sandro has turned to ice. A Little Too Long
Revisado: 05-06-15
What did you like best about The Unwanted Wife? What did you like least?
The premise of the novel, in general, was good, but the storyline dragged on. If the author had perhaps removed a few thousand words from the manuscript, then the action would increase, making the reader perk up. As for my personal dislike--the reader's voice when she switched to the male.
Would you be willing to try another book from Natasha Anders? Why or why not?
I'm hesitant to buy another book by Anders for fear I will find the same problems: the plot dragged on and could be made more concise, which would create more interest. And I personally had a problem with the narrator's voice when she changed her voice for the male "speaker."

The debut psychological thriller that will forever change the way you look at other people's lives. Every day the same. Rachel takes the same commuter train every morning and night. Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. Jess and Jason, she calls them. Their life - as she sees it - is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost.

Excellent story, excellent readers!
Revisado: 04-09-15
This has to be one of the best books I've ever read/ever listened to. The readers/narrators were phenomenal; the storyline kept me wanting to hear more. I've been an avid reader for45+ years and read my share of great and awful books. The Girl on the Train is one of the top 10 novels I have ever read.
