Barbra has a lot to tell us and she does it exquisitely in this book. I was delighted to hear every aspect of her thought process as she navigated the ups and downs of becoming a director, a producer, a designer and of course dealing with a male dominated arena. She is undoubtedly one of the most talented singers on the planet which unfortunately puts a giant target on her back for criticism. Why must our most outstanding creatives be so negatively lambasted? She is a treasure and her voice can be compared to none. God bless you Babs. An original and preternaturally talented woman who deserves our respect and admiration. I love this book.

Billy Porter is exceptional and so is his book

I can’t even begin to imagine the difficulties that Billy Porter had to go through growing up. But his book is excellent and well written. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this beautiful man and will enjoy his singing voice from now on.

OMG Just OMG

Ray Porter you are beyond talented. The writing of Andy Weir is truly superior on its own but Ray makes this book come to life. Another audio book that i couldn't stop listening to. I stand in awe of both narrator and Author. Now I am on the hunt for more books narrated by Ray. His nuance abilities as a reader are probably the best I have ever heard. He can go in and out of dialects with no effort. A truly preternaturally talented man. I hope i can meet him some day and tell him in person. And of course Andy gets the same high praise. I hope there is a movie, although you can't get much better than this audiobook. Thanks to all involved.

My poor Husband

I get so enthralled with DK's writing I just can't stop listening. Honestly most of his books keep me completely addicted to listen until the end. I forgo TV and sadly chit chat with my husband at dinner (not as interesting as DK's story line)... ha...
His writing just wraps me up so intensely I don't want to do anything else. TV and movies are a sad second to the suspense he is able to create in my mind while listening. The great aspect of my constant listening is I am able to de-clutter, clean out closets etc.... Love you Dean..... More jane Hawk please

I am older so the book was somewhat of a retread for me. if you are younger and have not read every self help book in existence... go for it. It may be new stuff for you.

Love Dean

This series is so completely engaging I would listen to this book rather than watch TV. Dean draws me in like no other author.
I admit I will be glad when Jane Hawk series is over..... I can hardly wait for her and her son to finally be safe and sound. Love his writing and love strong female protagonists.

I just can't seem to get enough of Dean and Jane Hawk. His writing can actually stress me out as I get so absorbed by the story so completely. I think the audible book pulls me in much stronger than if I was reading. I am always astonished at how amazing his writing is. Genius.
