This book clearly lays out the essential factors to consider to profit
from stocks that rise consistently in value, before a counter trend. The author also points the
reader to good, free resources to obtain the information to make informed
trades. Highly recommended.

Good book on momentum trading.
The book focuses on riding a trend up on relatively small cap stocks. The
book provides good examples and makes the strategy easy to understand.

Useful basic strategies

The author covers two techniques. The first is following the trend in
small cap growth stocks, and also using call options in this same
technique for leverage. The more buy orders one can place, the greater
the probability of profits, because the profit margin in this kind of
“bet” can be eight times (for example) the amount of capital risk. So one
can afford to lose five times, for example, if one wins three times, for
example. This strategy requires applying the Bollinger bands indicator
properly (the author explains this) to an innovative, promising company
with relatively small capitalization. The other strategy is both buying
and selling calls on a conservative stock with high capitalization and low
volatility, so that one can keep the “credit spread” one gets when she
places the trade. One profits as long as the stock trades sideways, with
little oscillation. Clear, useful, basic strategies. The author also
gives suggestions for using the internet to earn capital. I recommend
this book.

This book explains three different strategies based on three different
principles: profiting from mean reversion when a stock trades below its
fair market value, profiting from continued growth of a high growth stock gauged by moving cross-overs and profiting from gap-ups or gap-downs on news reports. This is a great 3-part exposure to the market, because understanding the differences between these three techniques and the principles behind them enables you to develop a good understanding of the markets as a whole. Not every possible strategy is explored in this book. For example, the day-trading section focuses on opportunities in
instances when large institutional investors acquire a stock. But if you
absorb the principles in the three different areas explored in the book,
you can think for yourself to apply and adapt the principles as you see fit. The
author seems to understand that the point is not to drown a reader in
content but to provide carefully-selected content which is as actionable
as possible and enables the reader to develop her own expertise. Highly
recommended.

This book explains clearly how and when to enter and exit the market to
profit from high growth stocks. The book shows you exactly what to look
for in a high growth stock, and teaches the reader to focus on the most
reliable technical indicator—the 50-day/200-day cross-overs—instead of
trying to figure out what the highs and lows of the stock will be. The
author doesn’t try to teach every single technical indicator, but just the
most fundamental, essential one. Highly recommended.

This book gives detailed guidance on a conservative and proven strategy
for selling covered calls. The book doesn’t try to list all possible
strategies. Rather, the focus is on one particular strategy that stood
the test of time for the author, and the book explains exactly why it
works. The book also precisely lists the principles and conditions
underlying the strategy that must exist for the strategy to work. The
author clearly knows what he’s talking about. Highly recommended.
