best book this year

not sure what to expect going in but this was by far the best credit I've spent this year on audible.
I cannot recommend it enough.

I download two books at a time and listen to both wondering the day and one at nights when I sleep. I started the other book first and when I started listening to this one I forgot about the other book. this book has kept me up until 2:00 a.m. a couple nights and I finished it in less than a week.
I'm downloading the next in series now.

best historical fiction I've heard.

I have to admit this kept me up until 1:00 or 2:00 a.m. several nights a week. I swore I would only listen to an hour before I sleep and then I would find myself at 2:00 a.m. extending the snooze feature on audible.
highly recommend this series easily some of the best historical fiction I've ever listened to. downloading the next book as I write this.

excellent. in some ways people flawed in others.

The book does an excellent job in the beginning explaining institution and why the limitations were placed on government? also why the government is there to preserve the rights of the individual.
then in the next chapter goes on to explain why the United States should be responsible for every domestic abuse case in the world. those people should be allowed to immigrate to the US instead of two or three towns over in their own country.

best narrator ever.. holy crap

my favorite audiobook narrator from now on. I will try to listen to everything she ever produces. The outtakes at the end were hilarious I'm still laughing.
The book was good but made immeasurably better by the narration I will buy the next one if she is doing it :-)

intricate engrossing and dark

I felt like the book was consuming pieces of me. it is very well done and leaves you thinking. You are in the mind of Cromwell as he goes through the day through his business through his thoughts of the great and small.

exceptionally good series

I will admit I enjoy the plotting scheming intrigue politics and Relm development more than I enjoy the actual battle scenes.
I think the series is taking an interesting turn with the technology aspect but we will see.

excellent, history with a great story

The names for me are hard to follow. so keep track of them at the beginning of the book. The story is exceptional and kept me up until 2:00 a.m..
The voice acting is also very good transitioning from the old to the young.
one of the best books I've listened to this year and I highly recommend it I'm looking for the next one now :-)

young adult coming of age book

The book was good and enjoyable however a bit more for youth reader.. also OPSEC. she was given a secret to keep and by the end of the book had told probably 15 people.. just an observation :-) overall good I would recommend it
