Historia
What else is a man supposed to do when God clearly shows him his life's calling is no longer healing physical hearts, but spiritual? It would have been easy to tell God no, and to ignore the call back to a tiny town in the Ozarks to begin a ministry in a small church that was about to close its doors. But at 53, Race walked away from his prestigious and successful career and agreed to follow the Lord–under one condition. He told God he wanted a wife to labor alongside of him.

As usual, I enjoyed the story!

The only thing I would suggest is if you have a 48 year-old character which Penny is in the story, the voice that your narrator is using sounds much older like a 68-year-old smoker. Just a suggestion to keep that in mind next time.

I enjoyed the story but the AI voice reading, rather than a human reading it, was very disappointing.

Historia
Hillbilly Elegy is a passionate and personal analysis of a culture in crisis - that of white working-class Americans. The decline of this group, a demographic of our country that has been slowly disintegrating over 40 years, has been reported on with growing frequency and alarm but has never before been written about as searingly from the inside. J. D. Vance tells the true story of what a social, regional, and class decline feels like when you were born with it hung around your neck.

Historia
Laurie is sure love at first sight doesn't exist anywhere but the movies. But then, through a misted-up bus window one snowy December day, she sees a man who she knows instantly is the one. Their eyes meet, there's a moment of pure magic...and then her bus drives away. Certain they're fated to find each other again, Laurie spends a year scanning every bus stop and cafe in London for him. But she doesn't find him, not when it matters anyway. Instead they "reunite" at a Christmas party, when her best friend, Sarah, giddily introduces her new boyfriend: the man from the bus.

The narration was painful. It sounds like a computer and too fast, even slowing down the narration speed. The story was ok, but a bit corny.

Historia
With courage, grace, and powerful insight, bestselling author Kristin Hannah captures the epic panorama of World War II and illuminates an intimate part of history seldom seen: the women's war. The Nightingale tells the stories of two sisters, separated by years and experience, by ideals, passion and circumstance, each embarking on her own dangerous path toward survival, love, and freedom in German-occupied, war-torn France—a heartbreakingly beautiful novel that celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the durability of women. It is a novel for everyone, a novel for a lifetime.
