One of my favorite guitarists ever

I absolutely love this guy. Mike has always been one of my favorite guitarists. He can do no wrong to a song. The story is great, it's about where he came from and who he is. It's not a bunch of bloated rock and roll conquest stories like so many I've heard.

As a cofounder of The Byrds and The Flying Burrito Brothers, Chris Hillman is arguably the primary architect of what’s come to be known as country rock. He went on to record and perform in various configurations, including as a member of Stephen Stills’ Manassas and as a cofounder of The Souther-Hillman-Furay Band. In the 1980s he formed The Desert Rose Band, scoring eight Top 10 Billboard country hits. He’s released a number of solo efforts, including 2017’s highly acclaimed Bidin’ My Time - the final album produced by the late Tom Petty.

I got about an hour into it. It's corny. I already returned another book so I'm stuck with this. Pretty sure it's about a frog lady. The narrator does a hokey black voice which is written bad either way.

One of the Best Listens Ever! I Love This Guy.

I've always been a music fan, mostly rock & roll. Yes, I do love AC/DC. I didn't realize that this book was mostly car stuff, but that's my own fault. It doesn't matter. Brian Johnson is hilarious and a great story teller. I laughed my ass off and he's just so goddamned loveable. I wish he'd write more and narrate them all himself. Hells Bells, Mr. Johnson. You're 10 times cooler than I already knew you were.

This applies to both "Mustard Seed" and "Yellow Crocus" as I listened to both. The narrator is probably the best I've heard. Bahni Turpin doesn't just read you a book. She acts out every character expertly and she has a different voice for most of them. She does very convincing voices of many characters from young kids to mean old men and none of them sound silly.
The books are great too, but they are greatly enhanced by the narrator.

I hope the movie is as good. Great story great narration. if you haven't seen the movie yet, I would recommend reading this first. if you have seen the movie read it anyways.
