Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 (0-5) I bump up for public places/outdoor spaces. My trip to gorgeous Valley Forge this summer was quite a bit less exciting than theirs. 😆

What I’m Starry-Eyed Over:
🤩 I already love this book with ♾️ ⭐️ & quite possibly my favorite book of the year! And the audiobook, with DUET narration by Sebastian York & Angelina Rocca, definitely pushed all my buttons. Sebastian York & Angelina Rocca totally and sensually took on the personalities of these fabulous MCs. This amazing audiobook entertainment is like having a movie/production playing in my ears. You know the saying, the book was better? This one has me thinking: the audiobook was better!
🤩 I adore these MCs—boss babe GM for the Boston Rebels, AJ (Alessandra Jones), and team captain for the Boston Rebels, Ronan McCabe!
🤩 Single dad of sweet baby Abby–she’s perfectly written into this story.
🤩 Workplace enemies vibes, and a little bit grumpy, sunshine.
🤩 Forbidden plus forced proximity, yes please! 🥵🌶️
🤩 The love in action. The caretaking. So swoony!!
🤩 I love a little bit of locker room and rink time in my hockey romance!
🤩 Sneaking around! And that under the table knee grab! ❤️‍🔥🫠
🤩 Teammates who have your back & found family.
🤩 I’m a sucker for a gala, especially when the hockey hotties decide to attend in support!
🤩 When Morgan did the mini family photo shoot for social media! What impeccable details. 🥰
🤩 When the conflict is so captivating and feels so nerve-racking but also so good and right! I think this is me saying all the feels! I’m so glad I savored every scene!
🤩 Talk about feels—AJ and McCabe had me feeling the chemistry and tension through my whole body.
🤩 I had tears in my eyes a few times throughout the book, but I had tears streaming down my face in a stick room/closet steamy scene. These are some strong feels! And I bawled in the epilogue—happy tears, of course.
🤩 This is my favorite bonus epilogue of all time—you won’t want to miss it! 💯

What I’m Wishing/Dizzy About:
💫 It wouldn’t be me if I didn’t have one tiny but—but we didn’t get the special un-jersey scene. I really wanted the un-jersey scene. The teaser of it was almost enough.
💫 I cannot wait to find out who is narrating the audiobook for this beautiful and scrumptious story! An audiobook reread of a book I love is my favorite!
💫 Gimme more Boston Rebels! I’m so excited for what’s to come!

Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 (0-5) I bump up for public-ish places/outdoor spaces and spank*ng.

What I’m Starry-Eyed Over:
🤩 Dual narration—Angelina Rocca and Jack Calihan are well cast for these sexy and intense but super fun characters.
🤩 Best friend’s older brother and all the secret pining, both ways.
🤩 All the banter, flirting, and innuendos! LOL hilarious!
🤩 Plantcy—I love Carys’ plant business and all her plant chatter and thoughts. “Ignore the pheromones and save the philodendron.”
🤩 The first kiss and smile!
🤩 I love when Carys wants to take care of Gannon’s anxiety. And then we get some back of the car/limo action.
🤩 Oh, my, goodness! I hate Carys’ dad, but I’m supposed to, so yay.
🤩 When Gannon shows up to care for Carys—total book boyfriend material, even though he doesn’t think he has it in him.

What I’m Wishing/Dizzy About:
💫 I was a little disappointed when we didn’t get the office steam, but Carys makes up for it in the home office.
💫 I really wanted some pregnancy steam/intimacy, maybe even some post baby steam. The last bit of the book could have used some spicing up for me.
💫 The audio is a tiny bit weird in places where it sounds like Cary’s instead of Carys. I totally get why it would be a hard name to narrate.

💫 So far, I’ve only read books 1 and 4 in the Brewer Family series, but I’m really curious about Tate’s story, coming in The Situation.

Steam: 🔥🔥🔥☄️ (0-5) I bump up for public-ish places/outdoor spaces.

What I’m Starry-Eyed Over:
🤩 Cute narration with gorgeous accents. I especially loved the short delay in getting John Lane’s narration. I smirked so hard during his first chapter because the sunny, flirty characterization is so great.
🤩 The whole mustache conversation is fantastic. When Fin is thinking, “Hey, Mila, I’ve shaved a seat for you.” LOL!
🤩 Fake is one of my favorites, and I really liked the situation for this one.
🤩 The short amnesia part of the plot is very fun!
🤩 A little shower self-pleasure is quite good in the slow burn. Even, especially?, when it’s interrupted.
🤩 Vacation/temporary fling with a theme of fulfilling fantasies. Yeah, I’m definitely saying the slow burn is very worth it—the steamy scenes are deliciously detailed.
🤩 Fin, the MMC, is a great character—I love how he’s a sunshiny billionaire and also how he’s down bad for this girl.
🤩 I love Mila and Fin together—they banter so well. It’s LOL hilarious.

What I’m Wishing/Dizzy About:
💫 I love the accents of the narrators, but I didn’t love the female narrator’s male voice.
💫 I wish the first interaction (one night stand) would have been extra detailed with the door wide open to make it stand out from the amnesia situation later.
💫 I never quite loved the female MC because of her wishy-washiness maybe.
💫 I think I stopped paying good attention in chapter 26 just because Mila was not coming around.

What I’m Starry-Eyed Over:
🤩 I love the small-town restaurants and things. Take me to the Rockin’ Rooster.
🤩 I love the beginning so much and the tropes: best friends to lovers, sperm donor.
🤩 I do love the MCs, especially the fun steamy scenes. Teaser: “Why?” “To keep my swimmers swimming. Now lift.”
🤩 Holiday surprise.
🤩 Firefighters—the best do-gooders.
🤩 Text chats for some good communication.
🤩 I love a little jealousy to get things moving. I actually think the first little bit of love triangle worked on me, giving me feels other than annoyance.
🤩 I do feel the longing for these two to love each other fully.
🤩 I’m so interested in these side characters and definitely want more Beaumont Creek. I think I might read the next book with my eyes rather than the audiobook (I’m pretty picky about audiobooks these days).
🤩 Thanks to the author for the gifted special edition paperback.

What I’m Wishing/Dizzy About:
💫 Chapter Fifteen Nate—I wish it was a male narrator. I do really like this female narrator, but I wish there was a male narrator too.
💫 Maybe just not enough plot, not super interesting.
💫 The timing was off for me at times with the weird sexual moment when I didn’t even think they were being intimate and the fart leading to the weird kinky moment.
💫 The double love triangle kind of put me over the edge of annoyance.
💫 And the not communicating definitely put me over the edge.
💫 I like the side characters, but there’s a bit too much of Jane and Capshaw—I just need a tiny teaser to get me interested in possible future characters.

What I’m Starry-Eyed Over:
🤩 The Fake Wedding Project is exactly what this grumpy girl needed in her life! Thank you for the happy hormones.
🤩 Available in Kindle Unlimited audio—that doesn’t happen often, so it’s such a fabulous surprise!
🤩 So many of my favorites, no wonder it worked on me: fake fiancé trope, by Pippa Grant, narrated by CJ Bloom & Connor Crais, and a little sprinkle of small-town Christmas theme.
🤩 The feud between their families is captivating and fun.
🤩 A little shorter in book length if you need a happy quickie in your life.
🤩 Fake is my favorite, especially with secret pining, self-pleasure, and not-so-fake kisses.
🤩 “And this is why I always had a crush on you in high school.” He had the crush!
🤩 Perfectly timed c*** blocking, but also the not blocked times as well!!
🤩 I love a rainy and soaked situation—what a gorgeous and sensual scene in my favorite voice narration of all time, CJ Bloom.
🤩 The bonus epilogue perfection is in Chili the dog’s perspective with Connor Crais narrating!

What I’m Wishing/Dizzy About:
💫 I’m on the fence about trying an eggnog latte.

What I’m Starry-Eyed Over:
🤩 Updating my review for the audiobook: what a sensual treat to hear this beautiful story told in duet narration by Samantha Brentmoor & Connor Crais. They do the flirty banter between Laney and Grant so right!!
🤩 Secret identity and enemies-to-lovers type banter with lots of unwanted physical attraction.
🤩 All the feels with added suspense (check the trigger warnings). Be ready to cry one minute and literally giggle the next.
🤩 Laney Young is spunky, and I love their sassy meet-cute.
🤩 “No cowboys around here. You’ve got horsemen and bourbon boys in Fiasco,”
🤩 I’m not sure the difference, but I’d say if you’re in your cowboy-ish era, you probably need to check this one out!
🤩 I’d love Grant Foxx to teach me about Kentucky hugs and bourbon play. The way he takes care of Laney and comes to her rescue time and time again is so beautiful.
🤩 All my senses are piqued with this beautiful writing.
🤩 So many perfectly memorable moments, pretty much every single interaction.
🤩 I especially love the moments where Grant and Laney give each other confidence.
🤩 I’m a sucker for hearing the self-pleasure from the other side of the door—it’s so hot in a slow burn. Yeah, it gets so good and hot.
🤩 PTSD representation, that need to know, and oh my gosh moments.
🤩 The flashbacks along the way cleverly help us understand our MCs emotionally.
🤩 Pets in books lovers—you will be smitten with sweet Julep!
🤩 Griz—he’s the sweetest, meddling grandpa.
🤩 Family, found family, and amazing friendship.

What I’m Wishing/Dizzy About:
💫 More Foxx brothers—I’m ready for Ace and Lincoln to get their HEAs. I’d love Hadley to be part of an HEA, too!
💫 “you’re giving me whiplash, cowboy.” I felt it, whew!

What I’m Starry-Eyed Over:
🤩 These tropes:
🤩 Friends-to-lovers.
🤩 Virgin MMC.
🤩 Surprise pregnancy.
🤩 All the feels, especially so much longing in this friends-to-lovers baseball romance.
🤩 The narrators, Victoria Connolly and Tim Paige, are scrumptiously cast and give such a gorgeous performances of Lark and Dan/”Monty.”
🤩 More deep longing and in Tim Paige’s voice acting—goodness gracious, he just does it for me.
🤩 The drunken giggly voice message from Lark to Dan/“Monty.”
🤩 The Christmas tree farm & kiss.
🤩 The sweetest, hottest, most intimate and fun learning each other’s bodies.
🤩 “Me being embarrassed has nothing to do with us moving too quickly and everything to do with how desperately I want you.”
🤩 Great texting chats.
🤩 Star Wars super fandom.

What I’m Wishing/Dizzy About:
💫 I enjoyed the on-page baseball game and team time, but I was hoping for less closed door or something more from the last 10+%.

Steam: 🔥🔥🔥 (0-5)

What I’m Starry-Eyed Over:
🤩 The dual POV, dual narration is a good choice. The narrators seem to be cast well for the MC’s personalities.
🤩 Baseball romance. Maverick is an introvert dealing with an injury. Sadie is the head of fundraising for the Vancouver Children’s Hospital Foundation.
🤩 Double meet-cute! He protects her. It’s so captivating.
🤩 Grumpy-sunshine characterization.
🤩 Fake is my favorite. I especially love a PR stunt! Add forced proximity (wedding date) to make me melt. ❤️‍🔥🫠
🤩 Unwanted secret pining with a shower scene—one of my favorite micro-tropes!
🤩 Out in public fake touches and kisses.
🤩 When they can’t resist anymore! 🥵
🤩 Steam after the time apart, just what I need to confirm the HEA in all the ways.
🤩 I like the Baby mixed with the Specs nickname.

What I’m Wishing/Dizzy About:
💫 I was in a predicament with the narration. I like to speed up when my eyes want to go faster than my ears (audiobook/ebook combo read, my favorite) but I don’t like Dane’s voice sped up.
💫 I don’t love Maverick’s temper, but I do love how he accepts and desires Sadie’s comfort. I don’t mind a grumpy, damaged MC, but Mav needs some counseling or something because I’m not sure Sadie alone can truly help/fix him.
💫 I don’t like the whiny way they deal with the away games. I prefer when my MCs make the very best of the away games.

Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 (0-5) I bump up for bdsm.

What I’m Starry-Eyed Over:
🤩 The duet narration is fabulous and that first scene is so captivating.
🤩 Ex’s father.
🤩 Meatloaf as a safeword!! LOL funny—I need it in with the heavy.
🤩 The awkward love triangle, feeling annoyed, but also needing to keep reading.
🤩 The wedding, the finally, the mine.
🤩 I love the fated mates feels, like they could not resist each other.
🤩 Great friends.

What I’m Wishing/Dizzy About:
💫 I didn’t expect such a slow burn with all the intense attraction and bdsm vibes.
💫 Not my favorite hot tub scene.
💫 I was wishing for some sneaking around.
💫 Just too much of the overwhelming feeling of sadness for me. I listened to the last 35% on 2.0 speed while on TikTok.
💫 I don’t like MCs who make my other MCs feel like they’re on an emotional yo-yo. My MCs should not have to earn love or snuggles.
💫 MMC is a bit too traumatized—needs some therapy.
💫 I’m intrigued by the future characters, but widow is my least favorite trope, so I think I’ll pass on Felix’s book. I’m not sure this author is meant for me.

🤩 New Adult sports romance with on-page competition for both MCs—love it, so captivating!!
🤩 Injury/training plot and setting! When Avery puts Knox in his place—so much fun!
🤩 How Flynn is Knox’s motivation for doing it! So much brotherly love.
🤩 Enemies-to-lovers & their friends are dating.
🤩 Great banter, secret pining, and LOL funny!
🤩 Oh, these hot babes and the victory kiss!
🤩 Perfect use of Princess!
🤩 Oh, the sweet longing for these two young hotties to realize how good they are!

What I’m Wishing/Dizzy About:
