Was fun seeing the spells of the necromancer come to life with descriptions. Great read.

Enjoyable story. You can predict how it’s going to end but you can’t predict how it gets there and you’re hoping the whole time you’re wrong. I couldn’t stop listening.

The only reason I finished the book is because of what the other narrator from the previous two in the trilogy started. The change of voices brought a personality to the character and he was having fun with this which made us have fun. This narrator of this book it seems was just collecting a paycheck. He had no passion and mispronounced stuff. Please have people who care about the material narrate they books.

A long time fan of R.A Salvatore because of Drizzt (yes I own every Drizzt book, board game and comic book) after reading his Coven series I decided to venture back and give his other books a try since I’m curios about the world of Corona now. I kicked myself for not reading this book sooner. For my people out there who were fans of the show living color, remember Daman Way Ann’s character Handi-man? This one ups it in a brilliant way and show how there’s a hero hidden in even those we perceive as helpless. Beautiful book. So beautiful that I’m gonna buy the hardcopy to add it to my book collection.

Get this book and add it to your NOLA library. Great reference book for when I’m writing songs, films or teaching my culture to people

Really stoked that Charlamagne read his own book! The personality in the reading made this so much more enjoyable to listen to.

I bought the audiobook but I'm going to buy the book for my 15 year old nephew. Charlamange makes brilliant points and examples from his own life which that I feel will inspire kids to get focused and not be led into this whack drug dealer/trap/gangster life. For adults that make excuses, this book should be mandatory reading. Great job Charlamagne.

The details provided are good. This is a good book for someone who is a history scholar or enthusiast. It's great for someone who wants to do a film based on Emmitt Till. I think Mamie Bradly is a superwoman that isn't touted enough after reading this.

I LOVED this story. Jackson was a dope villain. Lu Ann was bad ass. And it was just a great story all around. I'm EXTREMELY surprised Hollyweird has not tried to make a movie out of this book; really surprised.
