I just THOUGHT the first book was great, the second blew it away! Marvelous!

Completely action packed, the love story does progress well , and adds some spice, but the dragons Are phenomenally written. The ending? 😳😳, I cannot wait until the third book comes!

I cried my eyes out about 2 hours to the end

Ok, everyone wants to bash Persephone for immaturity. The poor girl was hidden away and only knew one person her whole life until college, and then invested herself in her best friend lexa. Yes, she is more immature and it took her longer, but Hades failed in many areas

No way in hell I would’ve screwed Hades before he explained why he was holding leuce’s hands in a picture. Also, a LOT of her decisions were based on information Hades could’ve given her and didn’t. He abandoned her over and over when she needed him most. I love smut, but they use sex as a solution too often, BUT OVERALL this was a great story of love, great friendship, sacrifice, and living and learning from mistakes. On to read Hades POV…

Also, the whole stalker/kidnapper thing was so underplayed it was almost a weird insert.

Listen carefully. Nothing about this book makes you like the domineering male character. And although I like spice, this is just…. Creepy. The word p$ssy is ALWAYS a turn off for me. The literary world needs to learn that d&ck and p$&&y are for playboy/hustler , show some intelligence, and find other words. The romance seems more like a possessive situation than love. Sadly, I finished it. Don’t waste time, move on

I was pleasantly surprised !

I LOVED this book, about to start book 2. I can’t tell you how hard I laughed at the eye socket kisses, loved the main character, strong and not petulant, but her BFF, just warmth all over. Action packed, and compelling story. You don’t want to miss it

If you love action, dragons, and light smut, this is your jam

I absolutely LOVED this book, then book two came out and it blew it out of the water! Marvelously written, the world building is great, the dragons are MARVELOUS! The female main character simply refuses to fail under very deadly circumstances. The romance is a fantastic addition with enough spice but not too much .

Interesting read, good narration

I finished the acotar series and really wanted to go with another series from Maas. I am normally a historical fiction person, a friend recommended the author. I really like her alternate reality writing, a little historic, a little modern. I was not excited about this book going in, I was just reading to get the back story for throne of glass. I ended up being pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it so much. The narrator is really good, not crazy about her male voices, but it is really her only weakness, she’s an excellent reader. I can’t wait to start Throne of glass!

Sexy, exciting, amazing

The dichotomy of so many different characters is so real. Feyre comes into her own power with (and I won’t spoil it) the right of love and total independence. Incredible. I’m about to start book 3
