Pretty good just wanted more
Revisado: 11-03-18
This book was good and it’s sad what he went through. I can see why he was a emotional roller coaster. I hated that he went through what he did as a child and it made me cry. It sucks that he carried so much on his shoulders and I felt sorry for him. I’m not condoning murder or violence but maybe if he was able to discuss his life and voice his demons, some of this could have been avoided. My heart goes out to all parties in this and maybe this can encourage people to get help.

Good book. Sad story
Revisado: 07-20-18
I really enjoyed this book. It starts off slow and you have to get used to the narrator outside of that good book.
It’s sad that these dudes started off young and didn’t have a chance, project of the hood.
They had to grow up tuff but that doesn’t give anyone the right to kill. They had a choice to do what they did
and had a choice to get out the hood. The ignorance of the people’s thoughts after Pete got convicted.
If you live by the gun.

Historia
Tiffany can't avoid being funny: it's just who she is. But The Last Black Unicorn is so much more than a side-splittingly hilarious collection of essays - it's a memoir of the struggles of one woman who came from nothing and nowhere. A woman who was able to achieve her dreams by reveling in her pain and awkwardness, showing the world who she really is, and inspiring others through the power of laughter.

Sapphire you know you were wrong
Revisado: 11-14-17
So I read the other reviews and I figured it could not be so bad. Well it is. Not
so much the story but her performance sucks. She needs not to ever ever ever ever
( in my Smoky voice) ever ever ever read her own books. Please Sapphire stick to just writing. There was times i was so confused about who was speaking. Her voice sounded the same for multiple characters that were talking to each other. Then couldn’t
tell when he was dreaming or if he was in real life at times. I wish I rather just read the book instead of listening. What happened with Mongo? This could have been a good book
but the storylines at times was confusing and not really developed and went no where.

Sad
Any additional comments?
She has been through a lot and seeing things through eyes gave me a new perspective
on life as to why people join gangs.

i liked the book and her stories, however Karen is not the best narrator. She lost me on some things because she is a little monotone.
