Historia
She was a beautiful and happy young woman who lived a fairytale life. Shurka, her beloved husband, and their two small children lived in a pretty house in a village in Poland, surrounded by a little garden with lilies. This was their life and nothing could harm it, or so they thought…. WWII broke out and though the happy family thought the Germans would never reach their idyllic village, they quickly understood they were wrong and their happiness came to a brutal end.

Narration was Distracting
Revisado: 08-02-24
The story was well told by the authors, but the narration sounded as though it was done by an amateur. She cleared her throat. Repeated lines. Overall distracting from the story.

Historia
In her second memoir, Teresa chronicles her life since her release from prison and what it's been like to weather difficult times as a single mother. Though she recounts the happy memories she has experienced over the past year, she also touches upon some of the darkest times of her life, including her parents' hospitalizations for severe medical issues in late 2016, which led to the tragic passing of her mother in March of 2017.

Real Angry Housewife
Revisado: 11-04-21
You could hear the anger in her voice and in her words. This anger is an honest response to what she's been through. However, I found the entire book to be angry, at her husband, her friends, fans, and people in general. I think she should have waited until those feelings were resolved before writing this. How can she claim to be a Christian but not be willing to forgive. Spend a little more time with God, Teresa, I think youve missed his message.

Easy to listen to
Revisado: 11-02-21
I understand having Teresa read her own story, but I'm surprised the publisher did not coach her. A more fluent style of reading rather than the staccato style of four to five syllables at a time would have made this a more enjoyable listening experience. She comes across as only having a fourth grade literacy level in this recording. The publisher failed her.
